I bought dud: fuel injection

. I fitted it to my '06 country house, the valve was normally closed prior to fitting. but it hasn't opened for several days, which means it won't start up after the gas and there's a big vacuum leak. someone else might have better luck, I just bought an ACDelco.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • you could choose newer model

Error within 90 days

I was very happy with the price of this product. This quickly disappeared when I tried to install the product. The hose connection for the flushing line was too large. Now, after about 90 days, it makes a very loud ticking sound. The product failed within 90 days.

  • Good item
Cons

Didn't fix my EVAP issue

This part lasted at best a day after installation. I thought maybe the first part was faulty/damaged so a replacement was requested. I had the same problem, the check engine light went off for a day and then came on again. Luckily I had the original (factory) part and reinstalled it. EVAP code lost! Car: 2009 Pontiac Torrent Mileage: 233,000 EVAP components replaced: gas cap, purge solenoid valve (okay, try it), and breather valve

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Available in white only

The replacement part fitted my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LS perfectly and was installed cheaply by a good mechanic for about $50 in about 20 minutes without getting under the hood but off the top of the hood. Great part at a low price and the engine light went out immediately after installation. It was in a hard-to-reach place as a spare, but it's worth the small price tag. doc-t

Is working. Good price. Fits 2002 Chevy Tahoe Z71

Works. Good price. Fits a 2002 Chevy Tahoe Z71 which is most likely the cause of the EVAP code, but always run the proper tests to be sure. Although the problem is often sporadic, it's not always easy to check, sometimes the valve works, sometimes it gets stuck open for me, I just suspected that this happened because of the price, I thought it was worth spending a little time test to save. and fortunately I was right. Other possible repairs could be leaking or cracked lines or other faulty…

Works well so far

This comes in a plain white box with no tag so I had some doubts. After a few hundred kilometers and 3 weeks everything seems to be fine. The old one was actually loose and leaking during the test the car computer would run. FYI: If you have these "Fuel Emissions Control System Leak Detected" codes (P0455, P0422, etc.), the "cheap guy" sequence is to tighten the gas cap and clear the code. If it comes back, replace the gas cap if it's over a few years old and clear the code. When it comes back,

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some little things
