Rough Turning good for me

The price is good. It is light weight. But, it is hard to turn, not smooth at all even I put in grease into the bearing. The plastic seating on the metal rotating ring does not hold on the table nor my glass which sits on top of the metal rotating ring. I have to change out all the seatings with rubber seatings.

Pros
  • Using this to replace Lazy Susan on patio table. Happily surprised by quality and sturdiness.
Cons
  • May require frequent oiling to maintain smooth rotation

Great size for the cost

Very good for a project I’m working on. Drags just a little and is a little noisy. Overall it is working for what I need it to.

Pros
  • Requires minimal maintenance
Cons
  • May not be adequately balanced for seamless rotation

Not so lazy Susan… good for me

Takes some effort for it to spin. Had to take the plastic grips off the bottom and replace them with rubber as it wouldn’t spin freely on a marble countertop. If you’re expecting it to spin like a roulette wheel, purchase something else.

Pros
  • No directions came with the product.
Cons
  • May be unstable on uneven surfaces

does not turn easily

extremely disappointed in product. had to install shims to get the turntable to turn making the top not level. If shims are not installed, product turns extremely hard, not like a turntable should.

Pros
  • Provides smooth and quiet movement
Cons
  • May not be aesthetically pleasing to all diners

Great bearing, use with common sense

I purchased this (20" lazy susan) bearing to be used as part of a base for a mechanical assembly. My requirements were that it should turn smoothly and quietly in either direction with minimal noise and no binding. In my situation, the weight on the bearing will not exceed 50 lbs. When two metal surfaces interact there is some noise produced. The faster it spins the more noise. My application is only rotating up to 4rpms and I will be mounting the bearings with neoprene sandwiched between…

Pros
  • Arrived early. Works great. I make my own lazy Suzanne’s. They mount easily and turn nicely.
Cons
  • May not come with clear assembly instructions

Great Lazy Susan - KEEP DA PLUGS!

This Lazy Susan did what I needed it to do. I did find out some good information on a 'simple' install::1. No screws were supplied - i know its not like we don't have extra screws around, but hmmmm, really?2. Upon installing it, the WHITE hole plugs should STAY in - to allow the unit to turn. If mounted onto the underneath of the turntable, without the white plugs, the flush mount unit will not turn. I know others used washers and such, but the plugs were perfect!

Pros
  • Keeps items within reach
Cons
  • May require additional cleaning due to the moving parts

I don’t see any use for this. It needs the glass that goes over it and you are tricked. It doesn’t come in the same price you have to buy a $70 or $50 round glass. Otherwise you didn’t buy anything useful! A lazy Susan is not the foundations of it.

Pros
  • Easy to install, works smoothly, solid. Used on a 20 inch turntable and provides good support.
Cons
  • May be difficult to replace if damaged

Heavy duty bearing - my new review

This thing can take the load. It has a ton of greased bearings so it doesn't turn without a bit of force. Quality and heavy duty

Pros
  • Makes cleaning and organizing a breeze
Cons
  • May require frequent adjustments for optimal performance

Not what they use to be.

I have ordered these before and was very happy with the product. I use these for making 30'x30' puzzle boards and the two I just received were very hard to turn and needed lubricating before I could even get them to turn. After lubricating they are very noisy. I will probably not be ordering this product again.

Pros
  • You have drill through the soft vinyl feet to mount it
Cons
  • Only suitable for 14-inch diameter tables

After 4 years white supports were smashed

After 4 years i have bougjt it, here is the status of it. I will need to replace it. The white supports above and bellow were gone. A very good product designed abd implemented very well in its core mechanism but poorly designed in a detail destroying a very good work.

Pros
  • BEARING BALLS DIAMETER - 4mm, WEIGHT - 700g
Cons
  • May not add value to the table or dining experience

very quiet and easy to install

I love this bearing. It was very well packaged, and super quiet. installation was easy. I mounted it to some osb board for strength and then built a 7 foot tall lazy suzan pantry shelf with 7 two foot diameter shelves. its working flawlessly. I am glad I got this.

Pros
  • LOAD CAPACITY - 80kg / 175 lbs
Cons
  • May be too expensive for some consumers

Great for a large Lazy Susan

My wife wanted a large Lazy Susan for our pub-style dining room table. We couldn't find what we wanted, for a reasonable price. We bought a 36" round unfinished top from Lowe's, and put it on this bearing, altogether for less than $125. It has a low profile, has rubber feet, and is so sturdy that I could probably stand on it. I believe that the value and quality is exceptional.

Pros
  • Home & Kitchen
Cons
  • May not be safe for children to use unsupervised

Will not rotate freely! - ISSUE ADDRESSED!

I did not get a chance to complete my project for a few months, but upon doing so, I found that it will not spin freely. It catches at the same spot for about 10 degrees of rotation on every rotation. Spinning it hundreds of times and trying some light lubrication has not helped. I suspect my unit is damaged somehow, but here I am with only a review to respond with 5 month later.UPDATE - I contacted the vendor and they issued a full refund! I have purchased a replacement item and will comment…

Pros
  • Helps to reduce clutter and improve organization
Cons
  • May attract dust or debris with frequent use

Great replacement part

This was a perfect replacement part for my patio table lazy Susan. It’s sturdy and spins well. Nothing to put together just put it on or table and your good to go. Price was reasonable as well

Pros
  • ANTI-DAMAGE PACKAGE - We use thickened paper carton and foam packaging to ensure that the product can be delivered in good condition
Cons
  • May not be worth the investment for occasional use

EASY & STRONG in my review

I purchased this as a replacement for another brand, I am impressed, hind sight days I should have purchased this item first.

Pros
  • Lazy Susans
Cons
  • May not be stable enough for tall or top-heavy objects

Perfect work around for dining table lazy Susan

We bought my daughter an expensive dining table that was advertised as having a lazy Susan. Turns out it was just a circle cut out of the wood and a circular insert that was very hard to turn. Ordered this and slipped it under the insert and it works perfectly. It raises the cutout a little under half and inch. Initially we were going to screw it in place but decided to leave it without screws so they can remove it on 'games night.' Absolutely perfect solution. In the past I have also purchased

Pros
  • Perfect for organizing spices and kitchen items
Cons
  • May take up too much table space when in use

More than glass tables.

Great item. Definitely "heavy duty”. I’ve got a 30 x 63 piece of 14 gauge sheet steel attached to a 5/8 piece of plywood. I placed the carousel between a heavy duty base and the top. The weight of the top holds it in place and the 20” carousel makes for a smooth, level rotation of the table top. It allows me to stand still and weld corners by turning the carousel instead of moving the welding leads to the corners. This carousel makes the material move on my schedule.

Pros
  • Kitchen & Dining
Cons
  • May require frequent maintenance to prevent squeaking

Awesome product. for my opinion

Worked great. Only thing I wish was the bearings were just a little bit larger as the spin isn't as loose as I would have wished for this project. But the Lazy Suzan we built, with wood, glass and accessories weighs close to 40 plus pounds, and the rotating turntable worked great. Love it.

Pros
  • Works as it should. Seems sturdy and rolls nicely.
Cons
  • May wobble when rotated

Good Quality Tight Tolerances low Runout

I bought this for my 5ft table to be in the center. This is a buy one cry once item. Yes its more expensive than the trash bearings at the hardware store but it can hold a lot of weight and deal with poorly distributed weight (think a turkey but only on one side) Spins easily and I have a 1/4 inch thick 24 inch piece of plate steel on the top that is quite heavy. Buy it now, forget about the price and be happy 5 years from now.

Pros
  • Resistant to rust and corrosion
Cons
  • May require professional installation for best results

Rapid response.great product

I needed these bearings for some lazy susans. My usual supplier kept telling me that "they will be shipped soon". I gave up and tried this supplier. The bearings were delivered in just over a week. My usual supplier actually delivering in 4 1/2 months.

Pros
  • Used this on a Lazy Susan I made. It turns smoothly and doesn't wobble. Easy to install.
Cons
  • Requires regular cleaning to prevent buildup
