Built right! on my review.

Some shoe horns are too wide and wear out your shoes in the back. This shoehorn is very sturdy, and the width is exactly right. The length is good. exactly what I wanted!

Pros
  • Good shoe horn, will last forever.
Cons
  • The product may be too bulky to carry in a purse or backpack

Long handled wooden shoehorn

Just what I wanted. I had another made from another kind of wood and it snapped in half. So far so good. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • should have bought them a long time ago.
Cons
  • The product may not be environmentally friendly due to its use of wood

Nice look and feel, but cracked in 2 months

Good things first:1. Very nice look, polished wood looks really good.2. Works great, it just feels better to use than plastic ones that I had before. My feet slip into the shoes easier.Not-so-good:It got a crack in about 2 months of use. I'm not wearing shoes nowadays, only sneakers, and I don't lace them too tight. So I'm sure I was not putting too much force on it. The crack is small and I believe it's not getting bigger. Will see for how long it will last.

Pros
  • It was for my father in law. He absolutely loves it.
Cons
  • The long handle may make it difficult to clean and sanitize properly

It does what is is supposed to do

It seems a little oddly shaped, but it is functional. It would be better if it were about 3 inches longer. That's my review!

Pros
  • Okay
Cons
  • Wooden material may absorb moisture and odor from shoes, making the product unsanitary

Easy to use for my opinion

Since getting older it has become more difficult bending down to use my normal sized short shoehorns. So I found this around 15" wood one and ordered it. I used for the first time yesterday and it was much easier getting my foot heel seated into my shoes.

Pros
  • Decent quality
Cons
  • The long handle may be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces

Happier than expected

I keep this shoehorn near where we take off our shoes when we come in the house. It blends in with the oak stained woodwork and much nicer looking than plastic or metal shoehorns. I’m happier than expected.

Pros
  • best $10 I ever spent
Cons
  • Not as long as I thought it was. It works, but nothing extra special about it.

More attractive than useful

Bought for mudroom, hoping would be both decorative and useful. Nice looking, but too thick where fits in heel of shoe. Also, since it's long, would have been better if top was curved back. Clumsy to use.

Pros
  • easy to use and feels rugged
Cons
  • The shoe horn may not be effective for shoes with closed backs or high heels

A bit too narrow good for me

Nice appearance and length. My main concern is what others have posted: the part that goes in your shoe to guide your heel in is not wide enough. I still use it and like it, I just wish they had made the 'working end' a bit wider.

Pros
  • Given as a gift. Excellent for those who can’t, or don’t want to bend over far.
Cons
  • nogood

Not Quality in my review

This is a low-level object. A shoehorn, probably made by a slave-labor kid somewhere, painted in cheap and ugly varnish. Then, it is getting sold on amazon as a product, for a 1000% margin. We made better shoehorns with our swiss-army knives, when we were kids. Cons: The handle is too short to really use in an even half-way standing position. The heel sliding part is too narrow and hurts.Pros: Can be used as fire woods in thoise US states that allow for burning varnished wood.

Pros
  • This shoe horn is easy and make it easy to slip on your shoes without bending over too far.
Cons
  • The long handle may make it difficult to store in a shoe rack or closet

sturdy and well made

The Bible tells us that if we reach the age of 70 years we are blessed, and if we should reach 80 years the Lord has blessed and we have arrived there by reason of strength -- I am half-way there, and at the age of 75 I have graduated to codger-hood. Now that I am living in that "hood" I sometimes require a long-handled shoehorn. My white-haired badge of distinction (In addition to tubbiness and creaking bones) has left me with the feeling that I am now further away from my shoes, and…

Pros
  • Thumbs Up!!
Cons
  • The product may not be practical for individuals who frequently change shoes throughout the day

Sturdy, durable and convenient

It's really sturdy, with decent length. Easy to use, and will last long. Makes life convenient, instead of bending down to wearing a shoe. I can just slip my foot in using the shoe horn.

Pros
  • This works out well to slip your shoe on without having to bend down on the floor
Cons
  • The product may be too expensive compared to other shoe horn options

I bought this to replace a longer one that I lost. It is very nice, strong and thick with a nice slippery finish. My only issue is that it is shorter than my pervious one. If it were six inches longer I would rate it 5 stars.Good value for the money, recommended with the above comments.

Pros
  • Attractive looking and also very strong.
Cons
  • The wooden handle may become discolored and unsightly over time

effective and good looking

It works like a shoe horn should, it is not much more than a plastic one, and it looks nice in the shoe corner. My wife occasionally threatens me with it, but all in fun.

Pros
  • So great to put my shoes on with this!
Cons
  • The size of the shoe horn may not work well for individuals with mobility issues

Looks good and works

Nice for those of us like me who can't bend down to their shoes like they once did. Seems durable, and has a nice appearance. Does the job.

Pros
  • Nice and sturdy, easy to use.
Cons
  • The product may have an unpleasant odor from the wood

Old Fashion …GOOD! for my opinion

Do you know that many people have no idea what a shoehorn is these days? Be the first in your block to put on your shoes oh. G.… Old gangster style

Pros
  • Missing the rawhide stringPlease forward one to me
Cons
  • The size of the shoe horn may not be suitable for larger shoes

NOT LONG ENOUGH FOR ME

The main thing I am not happy with is the length. I have osteoarthritis in my knees and there is pain whenever I attempt to use the shoe horn.

Pros
  • It is a sturdy wooden shoehorn. It works fine. What more can I say?
Cons
  • The wooden material may warp or bend over time, rendering the product useless

convenient little gadget

I bought this for a friend having back surgery. She loved it and used it often to get her sturdy sole shoes on. I'm considering getting one to use to switch up my shoes during triathlons so i don't have to sit. When your feet are soaked from the water or sweat, this might make it easier.

Pros
  • Thanks
Cons
  • The handle may become slippery when wet, posing a safety hazard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Kinda thick but well made

I use it daily. Works as expected. I prefer thinner. That’s just a preference. Recommended for sturdiness & ease of use.

Pros
  • Going to last a long time, probably out live me.
Cons
  • The product may not be efficient for use with boots or other heavy-duty footwear

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice shoe horn. Could be a few inches longer

Comfortable to use and reasonably priced. Would prefer it to be a few inches longer and a bit thicker for durability. A slight step down from what you might find at some premium hotels. Happy with purchase at this price.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • The product may require additional maintenance in order to maintain its quality

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Tough, Cheap, Functional

Not slim, so if you really have a tight-fit or sharp heel on shoes this might not work because it's kinda thick. But it's tough and a good size.

Pros
  • Wish it was a tad longer, but works perfectly otherwise.
Cons
  • The wooden handle may become scratched or marked with use, making it unsightly
