Type of review

Like any gaming laptop, it is very noisy. I don't see this as a disadvantage. Its power allows me to play World of Warcraft at the highest settings (in raids - stable 60-80 fps) and broadcast a 4K movie on a TV via Wi-Fi. I was thinking about the ASUS Zephyrus for 140k, which has more 8GB RAM and a better hard drive - it has a 1000GB SSD. However, I took this laptop for 90k, added 8GB RAM for 3k and a 500GB SSD for 5.3k. As a result, my laptop came out by about 100k, and the difference with…

Pros
  • The performance is simply amazing: the RTX 2060 + i7 8750H do their job. Thanks to the design, the laptop itself looks very premium. The assembly is not bad, although the top cover is a little confusing. The keyboard is also pleasant - the fingers do not heat up.
Cons
  • Dell, it seems to me, saved on everything, while focusing on the essence. The box in which the laptop was packed was made of some of the cheapest cardboard. In addition to the laptop, the box contained a charger and two pieces of paper. I didn't enjoy unpacking. The hard drive, which is 1000GB, has only 5400 revolutions. This is perhaps the weakest organ in this laptop - I immediately changed it to an SSD. I also had little RAM - I delivered another 8GB. Now I am the happiest gamer ever. By the way, the laptop cover is removed very easily (without dancing with a tambourine).

In general, everything is not bad, but I expected more.

Dell, I don't think it's a big problem to make the price tag 20-30 usd more expensive but with a screen without PWM. I recommend to buy completely, BUT only with the use without reducing the brightness of the screen. Got pros: I have an i5-9300h, gtx 1650 4gb regular, 512gb ssd. For such a price with such cooling and assembly, this is a bomb. There are simply no analogues in design and tactility up to 60k. Some cons: The BOE vendor screen flickers at 200Hz just below 90% brightness. This is…

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

I was specifically looking for a white version with a screen brightness of 300 nits, it turned out to be not easy to find (article G515-1666), an SSD for 512 and without a terabyte hard drive - it would still go for a replacement. For a long time I chose between this and the Acer Predator Helios 300 i7 9750H/16GB/256GB/GTX1660Ti. I opted for the first one for the reason: better video card, thunderbolt, initially more capacious SSD and the presence of a slot for a memory card) As long as…

Pros
  • Build quality. Decent RTX2060 graphics card, i7 9750 processor, 16 GB of RAM and a decent screen (60Hz and 300nits). The presence of thunderbolt and the location of the main connectors on the back. For 96k there are no analogues in terms of characteristics.
Cons
  • Quite noisy under load, but I think this is normal for good cooling. I would like a keyboard with RGB backlight)

You should not take it, it does not meet any standards.

Used for over a year. Tried to keep it. Everything is as it should be, more air around, on a stand. Undervolt not to kill percent. And that's how the warranty ended, glitches began and periodically there were messages about the loss of the video card and, accordingly, began to catch BSODs. I took it to the good guys in the service, where they told me that the problem was in the video chip. But you can't buy a new video chip. Vendors simply don't have them. You can only find a used one, and…

Pros
  • Good performance. Numeric block - for it was important. Cool look.
Cons
  • It gets very hot. The cooling system is terrible. Even with an undervolt, the normal idle temperature is 60 degrees or more. In games 80 - 99. Almost immediately, after the warranty expired, the video chip failed.

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

I have never had a top laptop or computer, I have always used budget models. While working remotely, the need for a new computer became quite obvious, and I decided to take something of high quality for myself. Against the backdrop of the past computer, I have no complaints about this at all. Pros below: Speed, high-quality iron, high-quality assembly. The computer is definitely worth the money. Has cons: 1. I would prefer a metal case 2. The weight is rather big. For me personally, this was…

A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

Bought for 95 thousand Keep in mind that 8 GB is in two sticks and not one, and therefore you will have to buy two sticks of 8 GB each if you want to upgrade, but this is my cant. you can take one 8gb plug for an upgrade. But the dual-channel mode works out of the box right away. There is also an option with a 90 watt battery and it lasts a very long time. There is an option with a 144 Hz monitor, but it is much more expensive.

Pros
  • Take Version: I7-9750h; rtx 2060; 60hz 300; 1000gb+128m.2nvme;8gb (2x4) 2666; 60w. Excellent performance for your money Good build quality Excellent display (I took the version 60 hertz and 300) Many ports 3 usb 3.1; 1sd; 1 thunderbolt; Headphone port; 1 hdmi; ethernet 1gb. Pleasant keyboard base does not sag as it usually does. The touchpad is not bad, it responds well to gestures and is very convenient, I use it in the browser. There is a panel with numbers, which is convenient. The backlight here is solid white, it is quite bright. The speakers here are loud, reaching 89 dB, but the sound quality is average.
Cons
  • The processor is not so different from the 8th generation I7 128gb m.2 nvme Very expensive ssd and not so different in speed from the usual ones. As he got it and started it, he rattled. But this problem was not difficult to fix. you need to go into the settings and turn on the optimal mode, and not the turbo boost, because it gets very hot and noisy, and the increase is a maximum of 10 percent, and sometimes it’s not noticeable at all to check the load, rattling, etc. I recommend downloading AIDA64 there you can check everything.

After the purchase, I immediately replaced the hard drive with a second SSD, reinstalled Windows to English, but without native Dell firewood caught a BSOD in a minute, and eventually restored the factory configuration from the cloud (very convenient!). After the BSOD recovery, sometimes they popped up, I decided with the built-in memory diagnostics - the problem was in the RAM, it was fixed, everything is ok for a month. I use it for work, rarely - games. So far I have not met a single game…

Pros
  • Performance, design, 144Hz screen
Cons
  • The upper part of the keyboard also heats up near the screen under load - the temperature is noticeably felt by the fingers on the WASD buttons. Hard drive 5200 rpm - for replacement immediately after purchase a bit heavy In my laptop one bar of RAM was broken, it was replaced under warranty

In general, I am very disappointed with both the laptop itself and the company as a whole. I can understand when a laptop is more than 3 years old, but when, after several months of work, problems and butts with the service begin, and then it turns out that I'm not the only one, then I'm sorry, then Dell is not for me and the company's reputation is wound up. And the constant reference to local build quality is completely idiotic. Next time I myself will buy a laptop from another company and…

Pros
  • The performance is very high, this can not be taken away.
Cons
  • There is no cooling system. For a gaming laptop, constant overheating is somehow wild. This is with the condition of using on a stand with fans. As a result, problems begin. Constant microfreezes when working with wifi and wireless mice and keyboards.

Good product at a good price, I recommend to try it.

On why my last review was 2 stars and now I've upgraded it to 4 stars. Defect: When working with graphics and in games, for some reason, once a month, the computer began to go into endless reboots with a blue screen. Diagnostics by official software did not lead to anything. On graphics tests, the laptop also went into reboot. I recorded the manifestation of the defect on video, took the laptop to the warranty service. There for a long period they could not reproduce it, I provided video…

Pros
  • I changed my review for the better after a long time (the old review was 2 stars, I attached a screenshot). Briefly about the pros: +1) The laptop looks good. It is quite modest and compact, but it does not look cheap. +2) Good assembly inside. Looks neat. In the process of warranty service, I got acquainted. +3) Games are played, 3d is rendered.
Cons
  • There used to be a bad review and it was associated with a hard-to-diagnose marriage. But about the cons in order: -1) Bad cooling system of the laptop. It gets very hot even on a ventilated stand in mediocre games and when working in Photoshop. Cooling cannot be controlled using software, the coolers abruptly turn on and off when the temperature threshold is reached. -2) My first review was related to a hard-to-detect defect, which did not manifest itself at all as expected: the built-in HDD contained some kind of malfunction, and because of this, when the computer heated up in games, it stopped working and somehow affected the work the rest of the iron. More details below.

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

Bought in the following configuration: DELL G5 5590, 15.6" (144Hz), IPS, Intel Core i7 9750H 2.6GHz, 16GB, 1000GB, 256GB SSD, nVidia GeForce RTX 2060 - 6144MB, Windows 10, G515-8134, black I got a copy with a marriage: - CPU temperature reached 100, throttling; - defective left column; - crack HDD; - gaps at the touchpad. It is possible that the thermal paste has lain and dried for a long time, and the rest is enough to drop the box once. In any case, in a new device for a hundred, this should

Pros
  • - power - really powerful device. Tested both on The Witcher with maximum settings, and Aida64 tests, working with Unity, video editors; - 144 Hz screen - smoothness and sufficient color reproduction (a friend who works on a regular monitor and on 144 at home immediately noticed the difference), normal viewing angles and good brightness; - good battery life with the correct settings and disabling some of the services, backlight, ates, etc. (more than 4 hours of comfortable office work); - nice appearance - nothing particularly gaming, acidic, etc., switchable backlight; - quite compact, for its filling; - medium SSD.
Cons
  • - low-quality / defective assembly (see comments); - bad HDD - in the future I will change it, but for now it can only be used for storage (photo / video); - terribly easily soiled body - after each use you need to wipe it, since it is easy to clean; - the lid and its fastening - when lifting with one hand, it bends, and the laptop itself rises above the table; - Bedlam with stuffed Dell programs, difficulties with ating (either you need to disable disk protection in order to ate, then you need to install firewood with your hands - the Dell program was not able to ate everything); - out of habit, sharp corners cut the wrists a little when typing for a long time; - frenzied turbo boost - turns the laptop into a jet plane (you can not only hear it in the whole apartment, but the interlocutors on the phone ask where I flew again) - it is solved by settings or turning it off; - warming up the keyboard (I hope this is due to marriage).

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

Overall, a great laptop for my purposes. Quite balanced, good performance, design, build quality and materials. At the same time, you understand where Dell saved, why it is much cheaper than its counterparts. I can wholeheartedly recommend this laptop. Has pros: Excellent build quality and looks. Looks like a decent work laptop, not a Christmas tree (hello to almost all gaming laptops). Performance is on top, deliver another bar of RAM, and it becomes absolutely wonderful. All gluttonous…

Excellent product, the best quality.

Package i7/8Ram/256SSD/1650 4Gb Satisfied with the device. Expanded memory up to 32g. Now everything is flying. Passed with Dell Latitude 6420 - on the previous one the characteristics are the same - but the old generation. Everything is much faster here both for work and for games. If not for the assembly - then 5, and so minus. Different pros: Powerful Fast Mostly I work on it, but I also launched heavy games - everything is smart Witcher 3 and Wolf New Order comes in Full HD as standard Got

Money to nowhere, poor quality of the goods.

Has some pros: 5590-9340 Ubuntu/512/16/2060/ 60 (!) Hz Very decent performance, Thunderbolt 3 for the future if it doesn't melt :) Believe me: I went through all the manufacturers - including gray imports in Hong Kong - for this money you will not find anything with such a (very, I note, balanced) set of iron. Maybe HP Omen, but according to them the official answer is "the next delivery in August", the rest dared. Some cons: Fly in the ointment: Screen! On the citilink page - 144Hz, called: vo

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

Bought in this configuration with the prospect of an upgrade. Immediately instead of a regular SSD, I installed Samsung 970 Pro NVMe M.2 512 GB When installing, you need to carefully move the latch - by default it is in the "short" disk mode. The new SSD was long. Put in such an additional bar of memory: 8Gb 2666MHz Crucial CT8G4SFS8266 RTL PC4-21300 CL19 SO-DIMM I got up like family. I danced with a tambourine when installing win10 from a flash drive - from scratch. You need to very quickly…

Pros
  • Price. At the time of purchase on 07/11/19, I gave 100k for the i7 rx2060 ssd128 8gb config to win10 RAM In this configuration, there was a serious gap between competitors in terms of price.
Cons
  • Too heavy. The cooling system plows to full under load.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

I bought it in the maximum configuration (i7 9th gen, 16 Gb RAM, RTX 2070 Max-Q, 512 Gb SSD + 1 Tb HDD, 144 Hz display, Win 10 Home), I have been using it for about six months now. There are no complaints about the work, a good and powerful machine, as expected. Pleasant display, I work at a computer - my eyes do not strain much. Performance is enough for both work and games (taking into account FullHD - more than). It might not be enough if you connect an external 4K display, but I haven't…

Pros
  • Display, performance, strict design, value for money
Cons
  • Noisy under high load
