Violent chemical reaction! Do not buy for bleaching!

I purchased this mannequin head to try out a color technique I’ve been dreaming up. Upon receiving it the color was not quite as light as I wanted so I applied bleach all over.I have bleached countless mannequin heads and never had any issues other than them not lifting well. This was another story entirely. Once I finished the application I put a cap on it and moderate radiant heat. When I checked it 15min later it was literally sizzling and once I removed it from the heat it kept getting…

Purchased for young hair enthusiast!

My daughter loves her mannequin head, she’s wanted one for a while and I thought it a great gift and learning tool to help her with hair care goals! I like that she can assemble it on her table and also that she enjoys it, the hair quality and life like scalp. We haven’t tried curling the hair! Excellent for practicing hair color, hair cutting and styling.

I was able to lighten the hair for a balayage using a 40 volume. Then I added the red hot semi hair color. The hair is nice and soft but there were some shedding. The hair is easy to cut and style. The hair is thick and is worth the money.

Very poor quality good for me

It seemed decent at first, i lightened it and that was a fail! Hair melted of as well as come out from the root. I’m sure that would have happened with a simple wash. Don’t waste your money if you plan to ever wash or dye it. Waste of money!

Definitely 100% human hair!

I was worried it would be synthetic like a lot of the "100% human hair” mannequins on amazon claim to be, but it wasn’t! lightened today. great for cosmetology students.

DO NOT BUY THIS for my opinion

The ad claims 20-22 inch hair. That is not at all accurate. Maybe there are a few strands that maybe stretch to that length, but I doubt it. Also, the hair is NOT all the same length. In fact, it seems like a mannequin that someone has already cut into, OR it is simply misleading advertising. I'm sorry I bought this mannequin. I will try Sally's next time because I feel that I was ripped off.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT! FAKE HAIR!

Please don't buy this mannequin because it's not real human hair. It's synthetic hair. The seller sells as a real human but it not. I almost failed my color class because the hair is not human. Unfortunately, I didn't check the mannequin before because I was waiting to use it for my midterm class. I can't return it because I passed the date to return it. PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT!

I was able to bleach it

I was a little worried. But I was able to curl and bleach her hair. However I am not certain it is 100% human but it held up to a chemical treatment.

It says 20”-22” length of hair. In reality it is 17”. Hair is much thinner than expected and very straggly on the ends. Making it more like a 14” hair length if you were to make it not trashy

the way the hairs were placed, cause them to fall forward in the mannequins face which makes it hard for pulling hair back doing updos. Other than that no complaints.Hair is pretty full.
