Read off nitrate!

In my aquarium I need to monitor my nitrate levels so I know when to change the water. These strips gave me readings from 0 to 25 ppm. It made no sense. So I checked the API test solutions again and got readings over 80ppm which is dangerously high! If you want to keep your fish alive, don't use these strips!

Absolutely normal! for Aquarium Test Kits

Very easy to use strips, very nice packaging. I'm not an expert on this but they seem to work well, especially if you're monitoring the pH in your aquarium. The label says not to use them for more than 4 months after opening, luckily you don't need to open all 200 at once - they are sealed in 2 packs of 100 each which is very handy.

Generally bad quality. Don't waste money.

I think they are easy to use but it would be easier if they just worked. I dove in conditioned and unconditioned water several times and the results were the same, they didn't change much. The colorful squares disintegrate when placed in water, which is counterproductive and nothing seems to have changed. I don't trust them and frankly the information they give is so little. And as said, they disintegrate in the water and are therefore difficult to handle. Just buy the best test strips because…

Spend a few bucks more to get better strips

Well, first things first. It's just 4 in 1, they don't measure x. Second, the reagents don't stay in the pads, they all bleed no matter how careful you are. Nitrate levels are still wrong. I want the photos to be uploaded, I'll try again. These strips said I was over 100ppm, the other two brands plus the master kit showed around 6ppm. I repeated this with 75 strips, they were all far away. I also love how big the stripes are. just wish they had included a chlorine and kh test. and that they…

Zero star, not exact

Do not buy. It's garbage. If you have it, throw it away. I throw away all 3 bottles. It's cheap when I bought it I thought the lower cost must be because it only checks 4 parameters while most other brands have at least 7. And most of the time I'm only interested in nitrates, nitrites and pH. BUT no, it's cheap because the quality sucks. The strip gives totally misleading results for nitrate, nitrite and pH levels, too low compared to two other better brand name strips. I also confirmed this…
