Had to move literally kilograms to get the battery in place. Now you have to tap on the device to make it work. Loose battery holders that can be made more rigid by bending the clamps. Will work and will work when the battery is safe. I recommend if you read the comments.

awesome - programming worked! You may have to redo your original when you're in the car, but if it doesn't work with the door closed, just open the driver's door. This was the first time I was able to program it following instructions. It's very easy to turn the key 5-8 times and that's it, the locks are off. Keep in mind that on some cars you may need to open the driver's door to do this.

I've had it for a few months now. It was easy to program and for the price it's better than manually unlocking my car. I have an 02 tribute. It doesn't always work the first or second time. Sometimes it takes a few tries before it works. The programming instructions were very simple. I can get another for my husband's key, although not very effective.

I ordered two remote controls and received them today. They looked fine but without instructions. :-/I do not know what that is. The instructions that came with them said you had to call tech support from 10am to 4pm, be at the car and have the keys in hand (to paraphrase it).
