Description of πŸ”§ Front Lower Leveling Kit - 1in Lift - Chevrolet Silverado Suburban Tahoe GMC Sierra 1500 Yukon 2WD 4WD - 2007-2020 Models - 4x4 - Chevy Avalanche

[APPLICATIONS] Works on both four-wheel drive and two-wheel drive. Compatible with Chevrolet 07-13 Avalanche, 07-18 Silverado 1500, 07-20 Suburban 1500, 07-21 Tahoe. Compatible with GMC 07-18 Sierra 1500, 07-20 Yukon, 07-21 Yukon XL 1500. This leveling unit does not come with installation instructions but is completely bolt-on; please consult a professional if you need support. Should take ~2 hours to install and does not require any additional shock absorbers, cutting, welding, or other forms of modification. Made from Heat Treated Carbon Steel, machined to exact specifications for optimal durability and fitment. Designed to be solid so that it does not bend or warp under stress and should last the lifetime of your vehicle. Includes 2 lower lift spacers of 1/2" (0.5 inch) thickness with 4x bolts, 4x washers, and 4x nuts as pictured for a total lift height of 1" (1.0 inch). Note that your suspension geometry is not a 1:1 ratio meaning the actual item thickness is not equal to the lift height. After installation suspension will be slightly stiffer. In addition, an alignment after installation is necessary to get the correct lift.

I am very satisfied and impressed with this product

I am very satisfied and impressed with this product. I read another review and first of all I thought where the lie is but after buying the kit the installation is very easy. The set keeps what it promises. I raised the front of my 2008 Avalanche model very close to the rear height to balance the look. I like the new position of my truck. I never thought two small 1" blocks could do so much and I'm a soldier we need proof to believe but now I do. Good product people.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Functionality

Not as described for self-leveling blocks

This rating is for 1" jacking blocks. The geometry of the GM truck suspension is such that you get two inches of lift for every inch of leveling block. The thickness of the leveling block was half an inch. Mitutoyo's digital caliper block is actually measured at .473" thick, so a full 1" of travel is not available for these blocks. The description also states that the material is heat treated carbon steel. The blocks I received were cast iron or possibly cast steel.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some difficulties

I don't understand how it was possible not to give a bad review, the design is so simple that it is impossible to spoil it. I'm not sure how much lift I got because I have Bilsteins on the front of my Avalanche and they are set for 1 inch of lift plus they should add up to 3.5 inches and my truck is perfectly level now. Note. Don't jack your truck that much without getting a redesigned cross country top link like me or another company.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons

2007 Silverado in self-leveling units

I chose the 2.5" jack because my 1500 had 3/4 ton rear springs that raised the rear even higher than it already was . This product raised it exactly 2.5 inches and now my truck looks much better and is perfectly aligned. My kit had 12.9 grade bolts so that fixed that issue. However, 2.5 inches is the maximum stroke limit you can achieve with this style kit. This makes installation tricky and doesn't leave much clearance between the bolt and the CV axle (that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Did I even get what I bought?

The product is terrible, I bought it, I thought it would only align the front, the first problem I encountered was the screws and bits that didn't were the same size, so the nuts and bolts don't match at all! So I had to put the bolts in a vise and remove the bolts to get them to fit, awful! After I was done and the job was done I measured all the angles and there was no difference! It was the same as the drain height! I was frustrated so I pulled them out and tried the pads on and they were…

Non-Professional Product

While this product lives up to its description and promises, I have a few concerns that prevent me from giving a 4 or 5 star rating. This product should not be used on trucks with aluminum lower wishbones. Steel on aluminum can cause galvanic corrosion and lead to premature part failure. Nowhere in the manual does the seller mention this. The nuts that come with the spacers do not lock. Nowhere in the instructions does the seller mention that thread lock should be used when installing the nuts,
