🔩 AMZ Extruded U Nuts - Pack of 25, Compatible with GM 1494253, Size: 5/16"-18 Review

Used these to replace a couple of parts that broke while disassembling the mower. They all worked well and held the required torque.

This is a direct replacement for most of the u-nuts on the front of my '78 Trans Am, including the fender and radiator bracket. I've gone through two packages of these so far and haven't had a single problem with either of them. They are perfect for replacing those rusty old clips on your classic car/truck models.

In the process of restoration, I guess that's what they call it when trying to build an old POS, but that's another story. Anyway, I needed about half a dozen of these grille u-nuts on a 1970 Ford F100 pickup and was only able to find them at my local parts store for about $4.50 each for 2 pack. At that price I would have about half that. the cost of a truck in the grill.
