Looks like it was eaten by a dog and repackaged.

*update* New product delivered in good condition. The return was no problem. Much of this product is unusable due to crushing or kinking.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

Rigid Brake Line - Fuel System

Hose says brake line is sold as fuel line, I don't know if that matters. The hose is very stiff but at the same time thin so I'm not sure I can use it for the reason I bought it which was a fuel line hose for a portable tank. After all, it's a 25-foot nylon tube.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Questionable purchase by elderly

You will need a tool or blow dryer for the fittings

You can probably boil it out and press against the spikes with your hand, but you will need a tool or blow dryer for the fittings. I recommend practicing until you overheat it (losing too much hardness and breaking down) and then moving away from it for later attempts. Otherwise it looks like it will be the same as my car and could replace the 8mm x 1mm.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Durable

Keep an eye on the size of the inner and outer diameter. A good product.

Good quality fuel hose works great for the money. But be careful with the advertised image. I ordered 1/4" because it had a 1/4" inner diameter, it's not. The size is listed by OD, not ID, so I had to repurchase the 5/16" size to get a 1/4" ID to fit my application.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Repair

Not great, but not a bad budget line either.

Saves money compared to its Dorman counterpart. However, if Dorman nylon line counts as a 5, then it should count as a maximum of 3. I used my leftover dorman line and this one. This line bends more easily and doesn't pick up connectors as easily. 1 day installation and so far so good. With all of that, I feel like the price reflects the downsides in comparison. However, I will return to the Dorman brand for my next role.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Poorly designed
