Not to be missed at K&N, this is my fourth filter in my fourth car. I've ridden it over 100,000. As long as you clean and lubricate the element with every oil change, the filter will last longer than the car. I also use K&N oil filters with in-line removal, not just great products.

There was a noticeable amount of torque and power just by replacing that air filter with my stock air filter. This is my third K&N air filter. I have never had a problem with any of them and have always noticed positive changes in my trucks. This was a perfect fit for my 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 6.2L V8 engine.

I have had K&N air filters on all my cars. As far as performance gains and MPGs go, maybe a few MPGs more but it's not really noticeable. The installation was a headache. There are 3 screws. 2 on the back and one each on the front and inside. The inner back is a pain in the ass. You'll need a LONG screwdriver to go straight there. Victory for K&N. Bad luck for GM engineers.

Although I've been using k&n air filters for years, when I put this filter in my new '19 Silverado V6 the car ran poorly and the check engine light came on and hesitated. I only had 3,000 miles on the truck and after only 50-75 miles I had to take it to the dealer due to an issue with the mass air flow sensor that needed replacing.
