We live in Georgia and our windows are 30+ years old. They’re pretty and wood and I don’t want to replace them with the new sleek windows, but they suck and heat pours through them as they’re not double pane. My daughter’s room is approximately the same temperature as a volcano by nap time so I was hoping this would help keep out the heat. I put it on one pane and could feel the instant difference. I have three skylights in my living room and in the summertime the temperature in that room is always 10° hotter than the rest of the house. This window tinting has fix that problem. You can still see the clouds and the moon through them so it is a win-win. it was also fairly easy to install, just make sure to measure correctly, and follow the directions.

Bought this for garage and laundry room windows to block some heat but still be able to see outside, works fabulously for this intention. Cutting and fitting to the window is beyond challenging, even creating a pattern to cut from still left me with uneven edges (hence 4 instead of 5 stars for easy to install) - I wish they'd sell this stuff in pre-cut sheets too for smaller windows instead of just rolls. For large windows and sliders you'll need two people to apply, but my windows were smaller

I have never used window film before and I found it pretty easy to apply. I put them on windows that get a lot of the hot Texas sun and as I was putting them on the windows the temperature difference after applying compared to the bare windows was amazing! They have been up for 10 wks, not one piece of it has fallen,slipped,wrinkled. They look nice from the outside too!

installed as directed, nice fit and stayed in place. However, it was so dark in the room that I took it down after 2 days, couldn't stand it being so dark in the room. It also distorted things outside, not that I have a great view, but do want to see what is out in my yard without trying to figure out what it is.

Our front room, that faces the afternoon sun, has two enormous Victorian windows. We have tried insulated black out curtains, other sunblocking film products, etc. this is simple to apply and works to reduce the heat and temperature in the room. Does not completely block out heat. Effective enough to make the room comfortable, rather than so hot we sit there sweating like we are in a sauna. Like that we are also able to look out the windows and still have privacy. Does exactly what I need it to do - mirrors the external view of my windows for complete daytime privacy.My film is not nearly as dark as represented in the photo (which I was happy to discover as I applied it). It will darken your view, but more like wearing mild sunglasses. Applied correctly it is perfectly clear and I forget it is even on the window.Installation can be really frustrating IF you do not follow the directions regarding using A TON OF SOAPY WATER ON BOTH SIDES as you apply. This was pretty easy to install, and it looks great. On the outside it has a mirror effect, on the inside it decreases the amount of light coming in. I was very thankful to have these on my windows during the summer when it was near or over 100F some days! It really helped keep the apartment from getting too hot and overworking the AC.
