Disappointed! for my opinion

I’ve used this twice now, and already notice issues. Issues that I see will make it unusable. I love the idea of the net. And the price. However, things I’ve noticed that have got me searching for another net are:- The holes where the straps go out to the tree are too small and the extra material isn’t sufficient. After two uses I’ve noticed that the straps stress the seams at these spots and they are tearing. They now have duct tape along the seams.- With a hex tarp, the corners of the net…

Pros
  • Very nice piece of equipment. Very well constructed users several times.
Cons
  • Kind of hard to get set up. No instructions. Took us a while.

HIGHLY Recommended.

It's a bit bulky, but not too terribly heavy and it works. We honeymooned on an uninhabited Florida barrier island and used this together in a double hammock. Plenty of room, easy to get in and out of, and did I mention it works? I slept in the backup hammock one night so the sunburn keeping me up wouldn't disturb her, and got eaten alive by no-see-ums. Eaten. Alive. So much that we cut the stay short and got a hotel on the mainland for the rest of the trip. She was completely unscathed (and…

Pros
  • Great product for great price.
Cons
  • May be difficult to enter and exit the hammock with the net draped over it

Awesome net for hammock camping with dogs

I have a 70 lb Great Pyrenees puppy that I took camping for the first time. We had a mile hike uphill to our backpacking site, and once we arrived, he crawled right into the net and took a nap under my hammock. This jungle net is absolutely fantastic. There is plenty of room overhead and underneath for all your gear and fun stuff (and dogs), extremely easy to set up, comes with great quality aluminum stakes and packs up in no time at all. I go hammock camping several times a year with a group…

Pros
  • Camping Shelters
Cons
  • Creates an additional layer of confusion for inexperienced hammock users

Can't beat the price, but no good for Ultralight backpacking

This thing is pretty big. I bought it to try out for lightweight backpacking. way to big for that without some modification. It seems to be pretty good quality. I would put the weight of the net alone (not the stakes) around 2.1lbs. I plan to keep this and make some modifications to it.

Pros
  • This net is awesome. It's like putting up a tent around my hammock, very roomy.
Cons
  • Mosquitoes can still penetrate the mesh in rare cases

Recommend to all.: my feedback

We set these up for a trail run in our front yard. I woke up to the boys sleeping on the ground because they were so hot from humidity! Bug net was a huge success! Even being on the ground, they had no issues with bugs. I have recommended this product to all my scout family.

Pros
  • Good product.
Cons
  • Potential inconvenience of detangling the bug net after storing

Well made, but too heavy for backpacking

This is a well made item. It is great for keeping out mosquitos, no-see-ums, or any other insect or small animal. The mesh is very breathable. I scaled this with the stuff sack at 29.6 ounces so this probably isn't the best for backpacking. For those not concerned with weight, this will serve your needs well. It has nice cinch cord at both ends that the hammock ropes go through. I opted for a hammock with built in net to save on weight. My hammock with built in net is 5 ounces lighter than this

Pros
  • ‎1.43 Kilograms
Cons
  • Zipper may malfunction or break over time

works great. good for me

Worked great.Put a ground cloth down under it to protect your feet and gear. Plenty of space to put all your gear and stand up before getting out.

Pros
  • Great way to keep yourself bug free and your gear critter free
Cons
  • May create an uncomfortable amount of warmth inside the hammock during hot weather

Great product! for my opinion

Better for hammock camping. Gives you room to stand and change your clothes without being eaten alive by the bugs. Great buy for money..

Pros
  • Great buy for money.
Cons
  • Possible rips or tears in the mesh if not handled with care

the prefect camping solution!

I love my net. Even after having to make quite a few adjustments to get it and the hammock top hang the way I wanted it was still very worth it. Not to mention having a place to put all of my stuff that keeps the bugs and critters out. I did put a tarp under it to support and protect the flooring. For long weekend or week camping trips the bottom might get too much wear.

Pros
  • The Kijaro bug net is breathable and lightweight with no-see um mesh giving you 360-degree insect coverage and protection
Cons
  • Can cause visual obstruction if attempting to star gaze

Great material. Before it is staked it needs the .

Great material. Before it is staked it needs the ground cleared to prevent tearing from ground debris. Very easy set-up, self explanatory design. I particularly like the cinch around the hammock ropes to further keep out Mosquitos. Can be rolled and stored tighter and smaller than how it is folded out of factory. Light weight. Lots of room for movement. Over all great quality.

Pros
  • worked great for my 12-year-old girl at camp
Cons
  • Trying to sleep with itchy bug bites while in the hammock

Great net, but open before you camp.

Ok so, this is overall a great product with two minor flaws.1) it does NOT come with a line to hold up the net. Luckily I had one when I went camping, but I just as easily could have forgotten extras. On this note, the hooks that attach to the top line are plastic and might snap.2) there's no hooks on the top of the net, inside to hold a lamp or anythingOther than that, highly recommended. Great quality and design.

Pros
  • Screen Houses & Rooms
Cons
  • Need to regularly clean or wash the bug net

Great for price but no internal ridgeline

I bought this because my ENO guardian is a pain to enter/exit and I felt the ENO guardian basecamp was overpriced. I intend to use it in the steaming hot, mosquito infested jungles of golf coast Texas during summer and fall.Although it performed well, my major complaint is the lack of a taut ridgeline (inside) made it impossible to hang my lantern or fan. There was no problem with ventilation, but the wind was still on my initial campout. I had to hang my lantern on my fly's ridgeline, which…

Pros

Cons
  • May ruin the privacy of the user

Great for two people

Many people have complained about the bottom of this net. I found it to be very durable and still keep a light weight to it. It gives me a great place to story my pack and shoes without having to worry about spiders or other critters climbing in them, plus keeps the mosquitoes off me!Another great thing about this net is that you can hang it from tree to tree or from a line. Also the ability to have a person in a hammock as well as a person on the ground and keeping both protected from bugs is…

Pros
  • ‎Jungle Net
Cons
  • Extra time and effort to set up the bug net

Awesome product! good for me

This bug net worked like a charm. Even kept ants out. No gnats slept with me. I loved how I could keep my gear on the ground and feel safe that no bugs would come through.

Pros
  • The Kijaro Hammock Bug Mosquito Jungle Net is incredibly easy to set up, allowing you to enjoy 360-degree protection from bugs and mosquitoes in no time
Cons
  • Can make it difficult to see and navigate around camp at night

and easy to zip good for me

This net is a life saver! So well made, and easy to zip.I have to have a good net that insects cannot get in becauseI am allergic to insect and bee stings. If I get bit in thenight I might not wake up, so I need to know I'm safe orthere is no sleep for me. And the fact that it has a bottomand the price is right is a plus!

Pros
  • Outdoor Recreation
Cons
  • Compromises the aesthetic appeal of the hammock

One must judge a product for what you pay. This is an inexpensive tent to buy. I set it up and everything was easy. The zipper works perfectly. The tent stakes are light weight and very sturdy. There are holes for hammock strings which you will have to put tape over if you aren't gonna string a hammock. There are holes to stick your walking sticks in to easily maintain height. The size and height of the tent are perfect. The only thing I worry about is the less than perfect stitching, but for…

Love it! I'm a mosquito magnet

I got this for my birthday, and i'm so excited. I love hanging in my hammock, but i'm a mosquito magnet and couldn't stand being outside with them biting. I didn't even know these existed, but i'm glad they do! It's a good sized tent! I had plenty of room down in the bottom, I read some other reviews that one person would sleep in the hammock, and either make a palette for a dog to lay under, or their partner would sleep under them on a palette. There would be plenty of room to do this! I am…
