Disappointing and Overpriced Bumper Patch

I was expecting this patch to hold up against the elements on my automotive bumper, but it started peeling off after just a few days. The only positive was that it was easy to apply. However, the cons outweighed that as it was a complete waste of money and I had to remove it and spend even more money to replace it with a more reliable product.

Pros
  • Easy to apply and molds well to various surfaces.
Cons
  • May require multiple coats for optimal results.

Stabilized bumper cracks

I had a small crack in the bottom of the plastic bumper and the crack grew. That seems to have stabilized him. He's only been there a few weeks, but seems to be holding up.

Pros
  • No curing time to proceed with front repair
Cons
  • Empty

Exactly what I needed to fix my damaged bumper.

Worked great. The previous owner tried to repair/reinforce the bottom edge of the bumper with GRP and glass mat. This process didn't work at all. It was too stiff and didn't adhere well to the bumper surface. The 3M material is easy to cut and fits snugly on the back of the bumper. After applying it I was able to use the flexible epoxy on the front of the bumper to fill in repair cracks and potholes.

Pros
  • No sanding required for application and bonding
Cons
  • The list will be long.
