I chose to purchase with 3M adhesive. There are other manufacturers that make identical products, but I needed the original 3M branded applicator.

3m always has good quality but I was very annoyed that I received a used product. I paid for a new product, so I need to get a new product. I've posted some photos and you can see the remains all over the gun, there's no denying that this item was used. Delivery was fast, so far no further complaints. I will use the weapon and will have to update my rating later.

I got this for a home car project. Works great, very well made. It's quite expensive for my budget but looks like it will last and work fine for my application. tips; for a related 3M epoxy found on the web but not in the manual. Offer to buy additional applicators if you don't use them all at once. Leave the old applicator as a cap closure and replace it with a new one next time. The heat gun heals quickly.

This applicator was dear in my opinion. However, once you get your hands on it, you will realize that this is a quality tool that fully justifies the asking price. Soft, smooth action, good weight/balance and high quality powder coating. I've carried it around the house a few times, looking for a quirky remark or a compliment from my wife. Yes, this gun is expensive. Can you get a cheaper one that works, yes. Do you need that special gun to use 3m products? The gun just feels good and high quality. The finish is beautiful from every angle. So if you want it to look good then your set is with this one.
