very good for permanent/semi-permanent installation. I tried different tapes to attach the mic holder to the GMRS radio mount and this tape lasted the longest.

Used this tape on my car's emblems and body panels. I washed the car a year after putting it on and my emblem has fallen off and part of the trim is sticking out. It's been fine for a year, but it's not a permanent solution.

Used to reattach body moldings to a 10 year old truck. Once I removed and cleaned the strip, this new layer of adhesive was very easy to apply. I had to apply a little more pressure than I expected but that was due to the casting itself. Holding up well so far.

Always helps when attaching exterior car accessories, especially when using 3M adhesion promoter. Once it sticks and fully cures, it's as good and/or better than the various high-tack adhesives that no-mess people use, and better than drilling holes in your car body and installing with screws.

Best Ribbon! I installed some LED strips on my boat and the original tape on the strips was of very poor quality. I removed the crap and cleaned the back of the LED strip. with Tech Spray Wipes with Isopropyl Alcohol 99% Pure 50 pcs into the package and attached the 3M tape. Then all attached to boat and person, 3M keeps it perfectly in space! Will buy again if I have another project that requires double sided tape!
