What I received looked like it had been sitting in their rear corner bearing for over 5 years. Dirt/dust was everywhere. It was already peeling off so it couldn't be used. I had to wash my hands after touching it. Stick with Vvivid or Avery Dennison because it's awful.

Worked great. I have original 3M film. color matched. The hardest part is knowing how to coil properly, make sure you do your research and have a heat gun if you have very extreme turns. I applied it to my front lip to protect the polish from stone chips and it matched perfectly. I used a knifeless tape to get the cuts right.

While the ad says 3M Scotchprint I have the Vvivid XPO. I will say that YouTube videos make it easier than it actually is. Heat too much or pull too hard and you can get a crease in the vinyl that won't smooth out. Overall I'm happy with the film and how the finished product looked. Time will tell how long this lasts.

The 3M 1080 Series is an amazing product. However, Vivid sent me a short product with a fairly useless quantity. The box it was sent in barely contained it which contributed to damage to the edges and there was a piece of tape meant to keep the box closed. No, the tape didn't keep the box closed and at this point it was mostly open. Do yourself a favor by buying large pieces and shop at Metrostyling.

This is a great product. Easy to use? This is a whole different story and proves that about 90% of all tedious jobs can be done easily. It's the 10% that requires skill and practice. I ended up finding some ugly spots in very sharp corners and other difficult sections on the first try. You can't see anything unless you get close. Arrived the right size and the product fits well but the packaging was terrible and it came a good 6-8 inches, totally compromised. There were holes in the outer layer of the roll and it wasn't even attached to the backing. I basically had to cut off half a foot and throw it away before I even attempted to attach it to my car, which meant I was only able to cover the hood (the original plan was to do a few other small areas with it). I have used it to wrap my side mirrors, pillars, center console, master switch and passenger switch. Best applied if you have a heat gun (I have a master drill 1500 watt for ca hits at low temp just heat otherwise it will crack or worse melt) Results are as expected Black satin is right in the middle between matte and gloss leaving a little bit on all sides to allow for that if it doesn't expand too much, when heated it shrinks back and spoils the view.
