Sandblaster dual angle sanding sponge. This between coats sponge features fine 220-grit construction. Ideal for preparing freshly coated surfaces (wood, metal) prior to the next coat. Long lasting and clog resistant, finishes faster. Measures 4-1/2 inches length by 2-1/2 inches width by 1 inches height.

Inferior to the dark gray abrasive sponges

. See that sharp turn that helps you corner comfortably? He is also extremely fragile; I have no idea how it ripped after a day of use. Based on the comparison, I prefer my old-fashioned dark gray sanding pad that I've used on about a dozen projects. The 90 degree corners are much stronger on it. Don't get these things wet, just like the gremlins. Even with periodic spinning, sampling lasts more than 24 hours.

Worth its weight in gold, especially for drywall sanding

I love these 3M angled sandblasters. I agree that they can break if your sanding material gets stuck in them, but I don't think they wear out any faster than sandpaper. In fact I think it's better than sandpaper because you only have to hit it hard a few times to clean the sponge, if it's clogged you can't do that with sandpaper. I also like that they can stick to the object of your grind. I would say they work best on flat or round objects. They are ideal for sanding drywall, penetrating into…
