🔍 Enhance Precision with 3M Speedglas Welding Helmet Magnification Plate 3.0X 06-0500-59 Review

This welding tool promised to improve magnification but it was a total disappointment! The quality of the magnification was poor, causing problems with accurate welding. The one and only pro was that it's lightweight enough to easily carry around. The cons, however, far outweighed this one advantage. Save your money and invest in a better welding tool, especially if you're in Automotive industry where precision is everything.

Worked great! Much better than constantly fogging up reading glasses. I've recently started wearing reading glasses and it just sucks to keep looking for them and then get fogged up while welding, so God sent for me.

Big question: Cheating lenses in a helmet or reading glasses? With TIG welding, both options. I carry 2x readers but for TIG I want 4X so I put these 3M Speedglas 2x cheaters in my Harbor Freight Vulcan helmet. They fit and work well.
