Description of πŸ”§ Enhanced 4 20 Flat Reamer Wings Coated for Optimal Performance

W.A.R. COATED - for use in pressure treated lumber and other highly corrosive environments. These screws exceed 1000/hrs of salt spray resistance. WINGS - allow screw to ream through wood before the screw reaches metal, preventing jacking action and providing smooth installation all the way through. Wings break off as they come into contact with metal. TEK 4 DRILL POINT - gives screw a drill capacity of .110" - .375" through metal. Recommended Drill Speed is 1350 RPM. DEEP CHIP CAVITY - allows screws to cut threads more effectively into metal. ATTACHES WOOD to METAL (3/4" - 2-1/4" Wood Thickness to .110" - .375" Metal Thickness).

Please do not buy. 50% bounce. You will thank me later.

Don't buy these screws. Please listen to me. I use a lot of self tapping screws. I bought them for a trailer. NOT screwed into 1/8" steel with no pilot hole. I had to buy real trailer deck bolts. Failure rate 50%. I'll give you the 75 I have left. Torx t30 nuts. I didn't read the fine print on them and they came with Phillips -Heads, which isn't good. The company hides that these aren't torx sockets. That's why they don't show the head picture. Buy torx pan head trailer bolts.

Pros
  • ATTACHING WOOD TO METAL (from 3/4" - 2-1/4" wood thickness to .110" - .375" metal thickness)
Cons
  • disappears

hold my roof!

I used these screws to attach plywood to my roof. They attached to a 3/4 sheet of plywood and then to a 12 AWG steel support with little or no problem. I have a lot of these and am not afraid of my roof falling off. #10 gauge is really very strong, the coating is even and seems to stay on the screws after use. They are worth the time and money! Again, as with the other bolts I received, there is no pressure chart for this bolt. I assumed Β£400 for a screw and from this other manufacturer it…

Pros
  • DEEP CHIP COLUMN - Allows screws to cut metal threads more efficiently.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Had to pre-drill the metal, a bit short, Phillips head, not Torx

I was attaching 2" x 6" pressure treated lumber (1.5" actual thickness) to the bed of a cattle trailer. The drill bit's point wasn't sharp or strong enough to cut through the corner bars, so it was Pilot holes required.Although the diagram on the Revain page shows them to fit 1 3/4" lumber, the screws weren't strong enough to cut well into 1 1/2" pine. around one to ensure a secure fit. I wasn't expecting a Phillips head, I thought it was a torx/star head but they worked fine. Pretty good…

Pros
  • TEK 4 DRILL BIT - gives the screw a .110-.375 inch metal drill bit. Recommended drilling speed 1350 rpm.
Cons
  • Out of Service
