This is the second Dingsun auto switcher I've purchased. As of this review, both have given me zero issues over their life time. Every other brand I've tried has ended up in the trash due to intermittent losses of input to the display. The issues seemed to be related to the various other brands not having been designed with a means to handle variations in power quality. Issues would show up usually within a month or two and steadily get worse. Dingsun has my vote.

Plug it in, connect 4 different HDMI devices to it, plug the other end to your HDMI on the TV and you are done. Very simple and so far, extremely easy to use. Comes with a remote to flip between devices, but each time you turn on a device, it automatically senses it and switches to it. Have two hard drive turner recorders/DVD burners and two 400 Disc DVD players attached and it switches smoothly between devices. Works great and remote works with a long distance. I have 2 game systems and a Blu-ray player hooked up to it and can switch between the 3 without any interference from other systems.

Easy to setup and switch between devices. PIP is useless, it displays all channels at the same time covering 1/4 of the selected screen. I had thought it would be a pretty cool option. I do not like the auto sense when another connected device wakes up. It switches to that device while you are watching or working on device. I had this unit for over 30 days before I actually hooked it up, I would have returned it if I found these out sooner.

I was not very happy with the picture quality of this switch but I could have lived with it. My biggest problem was that it would not auto sense if only 1 HDMI device was powered on. so if only the DVD player was on, the device would still require you to go find the remote and change it.I was hoping it would automatically sense that only one device was powered on and default to that device.I returned this HDMI switch

Does the job mostly all the time. I do find myself having to restart it every so often. The remotes battery falls out too. Thanks for attention.

Had this for about a year. Worked great. However.it recently started switching inputs at random. Thought the remote was faulty so I took the battery out. Still did it. Incredibly annoying. I guess when you buy cheap electronics you get questionable quality.

Easy to set up and works great. Auto detect is very helpful for those in the household that are not technologically inclined.

works as expected. integrates with harmony remote. picture and sound quality perfect, no issues whatsover. buy it. May not be user-friendly.

We have several boys with different gaming consoles so this worked out great to connect more than one gaming console with easier and convenient access which was super nice.

This is my second switch. The first one stopped working. Thanks to Square Trade I was able to replace it. Everything is working fine now.

I bought this because we have lots of devices and had to pull plugs in and out of the TV every time someone wanted to use a different device. This made everything a lot easier because we just push a button to switch between devices and don't have to pull any more plugs.

What a great device for an extremely good price! I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Set up is easy, picture quality is great and the device works perfect.

Been using this a year or so and satisfied with it. I do have to aim the remote just right, but it does work well. I have a streaming device that is always "on” unlike two others that turn off when not used. Therefore, other switches that auto detect don’t switch to my other devices. With this, i can switch without getting up (important for disabled person).

Works ok for the most part but blacks out when someone uses the microwave or if I turn on the fan on my desk and sometimes, it seems, for no reason at all.The blacking out makes it very frustrating to use. I'll be buying another brand. For me it ended up being a waste of money

As a HDMI switch, it functions alright. It can switch to the "active" device (i.e. if I power on my video game console, it will change to that input). The picture quality seems fine.The main drawback is that the IR sensor overlaps with the TV's remote, so when I change the volume up or down, it causes the screen to flicker and black out for a few seconds, which is quite annoying.The Picture-in-picture feature is ok, handy for if you switch between inputs often, but with the "active" input…

I use this switch as a interface between my fire stick and the ps4, very nice to have the remote ability and the visual indicator lights are subtle but nice. The unit is well constructed and slim. So far I have had zero issues with the switch and am very pleased with the purchase for the price paid. the remote is very small and no frills.

I received this product on Friday. The setup was straight forward. Powered it on and everything worked perfectly as expected. Turned it off, and went to bed. Tried turning it on Saturday night and nothing happened. Had to swap out the power brick and all was well. I would have given 5 stars had the power brick nor quit working.

This device works very well. It switches inputs quickly without distorting the signal. The PIP mode is a nice touch, though I’m not sure I plan to use it much. The device is sturdy and looks fine on a shelf with other consoles and set-top boxes. My only complaint is that the range on the remote is somewhat limited.
