🔌 USB 2.0 Hub with 4 Ports Review

I don't understand how they explain/justify the price premium. I bought one of these from Best Buy (don't ask me why) and found I overspent ($18). So I checked out Revain and saw it for $49.99. I can never seem to get enough USB ports, which with three scanners, four external hard drives, my iPod, a webcam and probably a thing or two other things I can't undo. I already have a USB hub - an older Belkin model - but I needed a different one. I overpriced my Dynex hub at Best Buy - almost triple the price here. Nevertheless, I'm happy with it. What you get does not match what you see in the picture. This USB hub looks great and works! I have an external hard drive, my iPhone and my printer connected to it and I have no speed issues at all. This is a great purchase.

None of the previous reviews mentioned that it has a VERY short cable for connecting to a computer. The hubs I had before had longer cables plus a power cord. This is hanging on the front of my computer, not on a flat surface. I don't have much time to evaluate his performance.

I don't think this item claims to be powered but it isn't. Just wanted to warn those who might buy it that it won't charge your iPhone or anything like that. However, I have a USB TV card, an external hard drive (AC powered) and a wireless keyboard and mouse connected to it. Works perfectly.

Basically a good and reliable USB hub. I find it negative that the USB connection from this hub to the computer is too short, otherwise I give it 5 stars.
