Nice toaster. Worked great for 2 months. The 2 slots on the right are broken and not fried. Revain only offers returns within 30 days. Revain routed my call to the manufacturer who then emailed me. They want photos, receipts etc. AFTER the 1 hour call. Not worth the escalation! When buying - does the ad say the item is sold by AMAZON? I will not order something like this again. I will pick up or order from a local retail store that offers returns on items they sell directly.

I see, that it's not an expensive toaster, but when I see all the billionaires with rockets, I wonder why no one can figure out how to make a toaster that toasts both sides of the bread evenly. To be fair if you toast 4 pieces at a time it seems to work fine but I've only done it once. I usually fry individually and one side is done and the other is white. The rest seems ok. Easy to use, good control knobs and backlit cancel button.

Before that I bought two different new toasters and returned both. I had to turn the wattage down to 2 1/2 to keep it from burning, but it works. Very good toaster. Update 10/13/21: Not for pop tarts. One fell to the ground and there was no obvious way to get it out other than turning it upside down and hitting it. The small drawers won't let it escape, not enough room, the rest of the bottom seems attached to my many screws so I'll spend my morning taking my new toaster apart to remove an item

Well, in my family life we had two toasters. Sunbeam 2 slot toaster and Cuisinart 4 slot toaster. For 20 years I never thought about uneven toast. Both toasted evenly and did what a toaster is supposed to do - toasted my toast. So when I read the reviews about the toast not toasting evenly, I honestly thought people were just being overly critical or using the toaster incorrectly. I am on the mend.
