Description of 📺 Sony KDL-40EX720 LED TV - 40 Inch
- LED (i. E. thin body and low power consumption, as well as pleasant viewing in the evening), discreet design, convenient remote control, convenient menu, good sound (for a TV), NATURAL picture with GOOD color gamut, 100 Hz, good and fairly fast tuners, presence sensor (very useful), built-in 3D transmitter.
- 1. Dark picture in dark scenes, which is caused by problems with the reproduction of black shades (quite critical on low quality content); 2. Low brightness. However, it can be increased by setting the matrix backlight to the maximum position and turning off the "Clear" or "Super-clear" mode in the MotionFlow settings); 3. Only one free USB connector (and flash media, a Wi-Fi module, a Skype video camera and maybe something else apply for it . The second USB is intended only for an external hard drive for recording TV programs), 4. About the remote control: I would like to have a backlight and a return to the previous channel button. 5. Really narrow viewing angles; 6. MotionFlow200 is apparently no longer 200 Hz, but an insertion of black half-frames (why the brightness suffers in some MotionFlow modes).
- beautiful appearance, viewing angle, no dark corners, everything is even
- the colors are pale, the quality of the picture is good when the film is of high quality at least HD, everything else is so-so, not all formats are played via USB ! 2 dead pixels 100 hertz did not notice!
- The first and indisputable advantage is the picture. Good, without any if. And do not say that with a conventional antenna the picture is not clear, it is not designed for conventional antenna, or cable TV, or satellite or Internet TV (the input for an 8-wire cable is proof of this, coupled with a USB slot for a Wi-Fi adapter). A bunch of hdmi outputs saves you from unnecessary TV movements, like dancing with a flash drive or an external hard drive. Menu: informative, intuitive. There is a built-in manual, no need to leaf through the book. The sound is decent, clean, but I want a more massive sound to it. There are many settings, even very, you can individually achieve the picture you want. Led lighting decides!
- Disadvantages . If you still do not use hdmi, then get ready for small tests like: the TV sees drives in FAT12 FAT16 FAT32 exFAT formats. NFTS - does not see. Remember what's wrong? That's right, more than 4 GB cannot be uploaded as a monolithic file. How then to enjoy the miracle picture on the big screen? Reformat your external hard drive to exFAT (if any). But then it will not be seen by the Windows operating system below Vista, and it can only be reformatted to VIN 7. Definitely not convenient. This does not apply to MAC users, they are completely in order with this. Okay, further on the minuses: there is no off-timer button on the remote control! For me, this is a minus. With dark tones - everything is dark. Not ideal for dark scenes in movies. You can fix it by manually adjusting the balance, hue and a number of other functions. Lights . yes, they are, I don’t put them in a clear minus, because I close the shutters and watch movies.
- 1)Great design 2) Excellent picture 3) Black color - rich, deep black 4) Image quality in dynamic scenes at the level (Better than Samsung) 5) A world-famous company that you can really trust
- Due to Sony policy, it is not possible to use the TV to its full potential. Namely: it is not possible to watch movies of good quality (HD, FullHD) through the built-in USB on the TV, since the file system perceived by it (FAT32) does not allow you to record movies larger than 4 gigabytes. And also a very meager amount of readable formats leave an unpleasant aftertaste.
