Does not meet specifications at all very poor quality!

The startup speed is far from 6.6ft/s (4.5 mph). I found the startup is more at 8 mph sustained wind. I also tested the output at the startup speed and the device is only producing 1.2 vdc and only capable of producing 1.1 amps. The total watts at startup are 1.32. The specifications state 30 watts at startup wind speed. I have not had enough wind as of yet to test the output at higher speeds. I only purchased this one because of the "low startup" speed and the higher output at the lower…

Decent quality in my review

Unit came packaged well and intact. Mostly plastic, but fairly nice appearance. Does generate, but takes quite a lot of wind to get moving. Advise careful review of your location, should be blow your hat off condition if you expect it to pay for itself.

Dis you know were i can get the base for the pole?

I still can get the adapter to affix the wind turbine to the Pole, can someone point me were to find it , or i need to make my own?

No power! on my review.

Yes it was easy to put together, but we can not get enough watts produced to when start to charge a 12v battery! Even when the wind is just a whippin and we can hear it just a humming, it still does not make enough power. And I got the 500 watt, what a joke! Nice lawn decor when I sting Xmas lights to it

Works good and looks good.

The fit and finish is good. Some of the fins have the ends with a little bit of uneven color but you can't tell when they are on the generator. I was impressed with the orings and the sealed bearing. I have no concerns about rain affecting the life of this unit. The overall appearance of it is very good even my wife is impressed with how good it looks. It makes good power in high wind like above 15mph and it does make some power with 8 to 10mph wind. It will not start with wind below 8mph but…

Knocking sound and no voltage

Measured output after install with volt meter at 20 mph wind less than 2 volts AC. Passed the 30 days return Window and hope the seller can still replace it or provide credit to get another one. It makes awful knocking sound as it rotates. Very disappointed by this product. Bought it cuz reviews said it was a good turbine. But is cost me about $200 to find out it is not

Chinese Junk! good for me

Zero useful instructions, no wiring diagram, no support at all.I bought two of these. First unit literally fried the ac/dc converter that literally went up in a plume of smoke.The other unit, worked intermittently for two days and then failed completely.Huge waste of time and money. I am returning both today. If I don't find a American made one, I will build it myself.This is why again I will vote for Trump. We both hate Chinese junk products.

Worthless. best in my review

Worst purchase of 2020. Didn’t work right out of the box. Also started knocking as it turns now. Tried a different charge controller just to make sure it wasn’t the controller that was defective.

The location that you place the mill is very criticle to the operating times.

This windmill is eventually going on my 49' trimaran sailboat that is currently under construction. Along with solar cells spread out over the wings she will augment the charging capabilities of my battery banks.

Does what it says it will--also good backup for solar panel systems

Vendor very conscientious. Now have 3 of these machines for night-time or stormy weather when solar not so effective. Mounted on 8 foot long, round, pressure-treated posts with 4-5 inch lag bolts--solid! Can go higher than 8 ft but you'll need an extra pair of strong arms and a way to firmly secure. Would like more of these machines for around the ranch. /KSR
