Problem Solving Is A Must

Yesterday evening after my wife and I assembled an entire 5 piece set of patio furniture in about 45 minutes I figured I could quickly assemble the heaters we had purchased here from the Ole revain. I figured it would be quick and simple. I opened the box, got out all the parts, laid everything out in an orderly fashion, and then grabbed the manual that came in the box with the heater. Opened the manual assuming I'd find the instructions on how to assemble. That's where things went sideways…

Pros
  • Ignite button does not work. Please supply replacement
Cons
  • Could be dangerous if not operated correctly

An excellent value, and great looking too!

I purchased this particular patio heater after having considered a number of other ones on revain and other web sites. One of the reasons for purchasing this one was the availability of the Sable Brown color. Another factor was that we live in a very windy area, and I was concerned about the heater blowing over. Some units do not have the ability to weight the base with water or sand, but this one does.Assembly was very easy, but time consuming. Because of my concern for the unit tipping over…

Pros
  • Use it on the patio, as long as it’s not windy it works perfectly, it took about 40 minutes to assemble.
Cons
  • Oil-based finishes can chip and peel

Awesome but the blue film sucks to remove

The product is very nice and the assembly is easy. But, but, but….the blue protective film took more than an hour to remove from the heat deflector pieces. I would gladly have lived with some minor transit scratches….this part was a complete waste of time. Thank goodness it is football season and I could listen to a close TCU game on the radio during the removal effort.

Pros
  • One-touch ignition button for easy start up; requires 20lb liquid propane gas tank (not included); chain included to secure tank
Cons
  • Could take up too much space on a small patio

Functional at as good price

We live in New Orleans' French Quarter. We get plenty of heat in the summer, but we do have a few months of chill. I had been thinking about getting one of these, but the recent freeze / frost was the final incentive. I decided that, in addition to making a quick cold frame using plastic sheeting, I could use this to help our courtyard plants through the freeze. The assembly and instructions were not as challenging as some have indicated. I was able to assemble it alone, but I would suggest a…

Pros
  • Powerful 46,000 BTU outdoor gas heater provides heat up to a 9 foot radius; ideal for commercial cafes and restaurants or home patios
Cons
  • Not suitable for enclosed spaces

Better quality than others in its price range.

Easy to assemble, having a second person to help installing the top would have been nice, but can be done with one person.Build quality is better than others in this price range, i.e. the Lowes and Home Depot versions. Water tank at bottom is a handy added feature for windy areas.Unit is sturdier than the 3 others I have (Costco/Home Depot and Lowes), full threaded connection between risers, vs 3 screws on other models.Lights easily and so far every time.Overall very happy with the product’s…

Pros
  • Great item. You don’t need to spend hundreds more.
Cons
  • Noise level can be annoying

Great for chilly days and nights outdoors.

Needed something for a celebration that was outdoors. It was supposed to be rainy and cold. I found this one on sale the event was in 2 days so I hurried to purchase and it arrived the day before. We put it together at the park and it helped so much to keep everyone warm. It was easy to essemble. You have to buy or use a propane tank like the ones for a gas grill. It is not included. The guests enjoyed it very much. It heated up half of the large pavilion.

Pros
  • The propane fuel source means that you won't need to worry about electrical outlets or cords
Cons
  • Could be challenging to find replacement parts

Great buy, same quality as brand names

I purchased this as ‘used’ or with damaged pkg (can’t recall for sure what it said now) so price was reduced considerably. Not a thing wrong with it and no damage to the unit itself. It also arrived a day earlier than expected.Put’s out considerable heat, sitting at the table beside it with it on high made me sweat and made my face red! People sitting 6-8 ft away said the generated heat was perfect. Next day at the neighbors, who have 2 of them - in comparison this was equal in heat output to…

Pros
  • These are a good quality and put out hood heat.
Cons
  • Flimsy construction

Looks nice. Gets hot. Easy to assemble. Worth the $$$.

The heater weighs about 45 lbs, comes in a relatively small box and was delivered 3 days after I ordered it. The items were packaged well, separated so damage didn’t occur and the hardware was packaged / labeled well. The instructions (12 steps) were easy to follow and assembly took me about 30-40 minutes. The heater started on the first push of the ignitor and roared to life. The screen turned red within seconds and the heat began to pour out. I could feel heat about 7-8 feet away. For the…

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • Can be an eyesore in a well-designed outdoor space

Decent quality, weird design

The heater is well built except for two things. One, there is no door to access a propane tank. You have to lift the cover and put the propane tank in and you also have to lift and hold it to turn the gas valve on and off. Pain in the butt. Also, you have to fill the base with sand. If you order this buy sand ahead of time. A positive, it did light the first time when using the igniter. That is not often the case with these things. Overall, a good buy for the price

Pros
  • I’ve been shopping for one and the price was better than any store. Works great
Cons
  • Wheels may not be sturdy enough to support the weight of the unit

Nice, Strong, Super Easy to assemble

These are very nice patio heaters, very easy to assemble, the only thing you have to be aware is the gas regulator valve, bought 4 and 2 of them had a defective leaking valve, which I replaced instead of returning the heater as these valves are extremely cheap like less than 3 dlls a piece, so, insted of reboxing and move back blah blah blah, just replaced it. other than that, heating area it's just great and these are tall, strong and have a platic base to fill with water so it get to be more…

Pros
  • Outdoor Heating & Cooling
Cons
  • Could be difficult to adjust the height of the heater

Great heat! on my review.

The product arrived on-time. There were several boxes inside of the main box to house and protect all the parts. All parts and tools were included to assemble. I pulled off all of the plastic coating protecting the metal while my husband assembled. We had it done in 30 mins. We hooked up the propane and it started easily. It gave out plenty of heat to sit and enjoy our patio table. I read several reviews which said to cut the pipe in order to bring the heating element closer so that more heat…

Pros
  • Secure the patio heater when not in use to avoid any potential damage to unit
Cons
  • The cost of propane can add up quickly

Excellent purchase! Works well - looks spiffy!

was not sure if this would be a good idea to purchase on revain but I found that it was! Very pleased with this purchase. It makes sitting out in the cold fun when you feel the warmth of this heater

Pros
  • Makes use of patio in winter an option again.
Cons
  • Too bulky to move around easily

Quick, Easy, and Reliable

I recently purchased two of these outdoor heaters and have been extremely satisfied with its performance. The heater is not only visually pleasing and adds to the aesthetic of my yard, but it is also incredibly easy to set up. From start to finish it took me an hour to finish setting up both. Only complaint here was the top piece can slant a little based on how it sits on top and how the holes line up. One of the standout features of this heater is the amount of heat it puts off. I have been…

Pros
  • The heater is energy-efficient, helping to reduce energy costs
Cons
  • May not be powerful enough to use for large group gatherings

Good value but screw strongly rusty after 6 months

The screws on the top are rusty after 6 months.I don't want to try to disassemble it because I am afraid to break the screws

Pros
  • Features adjustable temperature knob, tilt safety auto-shut off valve, water box for weighting the base and wheel kit
Cons
  • The design may not fit with everyone’s taste

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Some warmth to the Winter.

Afraid to fill bottom with water as it freezes here. I used sand.Difficult to prop up so the propane tank can be installed or changed. The heat is wind dependent.I can actually sit outdoors by fish pond in high forties as long as you also have a blanket.I am curious to see how long it lasts.

Pros
  • Works great!!!
Cons
  • Limited color options

Great deal best in my review

Bought these for a party in the garage and they were nice. We used just one and it worked wonders on a cold Chicago November. 10/10 I recommends

Pros
  • Good unit for the $99 price paid. The post tends to lean a little, otherwise very decent patio heater..
Cons
  • Might not produce enough heat during colder months

Enjoy the outdoors during cooler weather

I bought this heater from revain Basics. It was easy to assemble, easy to use, it looks attractive and it’s a great addition to my new deck. Now we can enjoy our deck year round.

Pros
  • It had a good price it was pretty easy to put together so far it works OK
Cons
  • May need to be stored during harsh weather conditions

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for the money.

To be honest there is not much if anything to dislike about this patio heater.Easy to assemble, just take your time and read the instructions first.Fired up first time and sat around the heater with valve 1/3 open and was nice and toasty. Also purchased heater cover which fits perfectly and helps to protect it from the elements. Good value for the money.

Pros
  • Dimensions: 32.12 x 32.12 x 91.3 inches (LxWxH); weight: 38 pounds
Cons
  • Not eco-friendly due to propane usage

Outstanding Tower Heater!

So well made and easy to assemble ( about 30 minutes with my hubs and i helping each other). The illustrated instructions at the back are the best way to go. The blue film protective cover is easy to remove too. No hairdryer needed! 😄 The wheel mechanism is great too and the price was so affordable. Quality product with easy ignition and great heat output. It's on a lower setting in the photo. I highly recommend it!

Pros
  • Just received.
Cons
  • The propane tank is not included

Revainrating 5 out of 5

easy to assemble on my review.

I don't write reviews. But decided to because this product exceeded my expectations. It was unbelievably easy to assemble. All parts were clearly marked. Because it was so simple to assemble I just knew it would not start. On the first attempt it started right up. Unbelievable. The heat output was amazing. If I had one thing negative to say was that it is very tall. I am fortunate because my patio has a very high ceiling. Hopefully, this product will last - time will tell.

Pros
  • The product comes with a user manual for easy installation and operation
Cons
  • Possible propane shortages could render the heater unusable
