Do not use for critical applications!

Terrible. I installed it on my Hornblaster's air tank to fill/drain my supply bags when my RV is on my truck. It was only on for 6 months but was used maybe 10 times. I went hiking last week and the air kept coming out of my pockets. wtf. I crawled under a truck full of soapy water and found the cheap solenoid valve not fully closing and leaking at an alarming rate. At least it wasn't an inflation valve, otherwise I would have had to inflate and possibly detonate the airbags. If you buy goodโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The .2ACK series valve is a differential pressureless solenoid valve capable of operating at 0 psi (vacuum).
Cons
  • Slightly torn

120 pounds no leaks love it!

Mine worked great at 120lbs Love it! I used a 12 cold 1 amp wall power supply that actually read 14 volts with a meter. I used gray teflon tape and wrapped it like this when dressing; The tape was wrapped in the opposite direction of the tightening, so the tightening helped keep the tape taut on the threads. Used 8mm brass fittings to connect with blue plastic tubing and everything is very tight. I'm hoping I'm not over-electrifying the coil with extra volts and amps. I use this in conjunctionโ€ฆ

Pros
  • . Comes with a 100% sealed ED coil suitable for continuous duty and constant voltage.
Cons
  • No Instructions

A NOTICE. This is NOT an NPT thread and NOT a full flow valve!

Latch does not allow full flow when valve opens. It just opens a very, very small hole. The hole is so small that when I operated the valve, at first I thought it wasn't opening at all, and only felt it open and close when I pressed the air intake and then heard it. slipped when opened. The inlet and outlet are approximately 1/4 inch, but are NOT standard US air compressor NPT threads. Maybe it's the metric system? When I bought it, I didn't see the name "DN8". and assumed it was NPT. If youโ€ฆ

Pros
  • . This solenoid valve has an inlet DN8"G1/4" and an outlet DN8"G1/4". The valve remains closed when the coil is de-energized and opens when energized.
Cons
