Three of four work -- very quiet, lower volume fan

Unfortunately, one of the four fans I received rattles horribly. I tried a light oil, and it is still unusable. The three fans that work properly, are indeed quiet. The output is lower than what I hoped, but I do not see this as a fault of the fans. -- the lower noise comes at the expense of lower CFM. If you intend to use this fan for 3D printer filament cooling, plan on a dual fan duct.

Pros
  • What a perfect fit for my small squirrel cage!lol on a serious note they worked well for my ender 3 v2
Cons
  • I purchased these fans as a replacement for the Winsinn's non-ballbearing fan used in my 3d printer. I

Works Great for my opinion

Replaced some Winsinn fluid bearing 5015 with these Dual Ball Bearing 5015s and the noise level dropped immensely. Gone is the grindy noise of a Fluid Bearing with dust in it (I live in a dusty area, Fluid Bearings die within 3 months here). With over 200 hours of printing, the DBB fan is still quiet and these is about the point where the fluid bearing would be starting to make lots of noises.

Pros
  • Computer Components
Cons
  • The noise level of the fans is excessively loud, making them distracting and disruptive

A solid upgrade - my new review

These move a ton of air compared to some stock 4010 models, and they do it at a similar noise level. The quality of sound is air movement over a whine. The fact that the airflow is blown into a restriction will always cause additional noise, and I was pleasantly surprised with the noise level in general. I had two of these in one of the quite large ducts on thingiverse, and it was just overkill. I get the same performance in overhangs and bridging with one as with two, at least to the point…

Pros
  • {}
Cons
  • The fans are prone to stopping or failing unexpectedly, compromising the performance of the printer

Good for what they are.

I purchased the 'quiet' 5015 fans, the 'high speed' 5015 fans, and the 4010 fans, all from WINSINN for comparison. My focus was for a parts cooling setup for my Ender 3 3D printer. I was addressing noise generation, physical size (for printing multiple parts one at a time), and air movement - both restricted and unrestricted. These qualities would determine what kind of cooling system I would decide upon. This weekend, I will try to supplement this review with db readings from my smart phone app

Pros
  • ✔️High quality Dual Ball Bearings, 5-years Warranty. balance between high air volume and low noise, Suitable for 24 hours / day long-term work, long life: 50,000 Hours.
Cons
  • The fans can cause static buildup, leading to potential damage to the printer

Decent fans on my review.

Most printing enthusiasts know, or learn, that a single 4010 fan is insufficient for high-speed printing and steep overhangs. I run a modified Ender 3 Pro with a Petsfang v2 duct for part cooling which requires 5015 fans. The "hydraulic bearing" fans are horrible on anything that moves or rapidly accelerates, as well as any setup where the fan isn't mounted completely vertical or horizontal. They also have a laughably short lifespan. These here are great. Pay the extra cost and get these fans…

Pros
  • It is suitable for a wide variety of 3D printer models, making it a versatile piece of equipment.
Cons
  • The fans have a tendency to rattle when in use, distracting nearby users

Work great, good price, excellent choice for a 3D printer upgrade

I have installed 2 of these so far, both in 3D printers. They have great air supply, and were a real upgrade to the stock fans that were included. The folks that sell these fans stand behind their products, and were very responsive to an issue with one fan. I will be buying more of these for future projects as they were just the product that I needed. Planning on dual fans on one of the printers soon, but these are so good, may have to dial them back a notch or print really fast! Lol.Update…

Pros
  • The fan is easy to clean and maintain, ensuring that it will provide long-lasting performance.
Cons
  • The fans do not come with any warranty or guarantee, which could leave buyers feeling uncertain

Good airflow, short cable, plug polarity unexpected

Purchased to replace/upgrade the stock filament cooler fan for an Anycubic Kossel Linear Plus.Pros:Air flow @ 50% power is equal to the stock fan, flow at 100% is much stronger.Reasonably quiet, not louder than stock servos.Cons:The plug was wired in reverse to the stock Anycubic fan, so initially I thought I had a batch of broken fans. The cable was much too short for printer usage. Both cons were easily fixable with a little soldering, but I bump off a star for not being plug and play with the…

Pros
  • The fan is compatible with most 3D printing software and hardware, ensuring easy integration into any setup.
Cons
  • The fans can cause noticeable vibrations when in use, causing potential damage to the printer and workspace

Used for 3d printing

I like these blowers for some DIY 3d printing setups. The only downsides are that they are pretty expensive and the plastic shell around the squirrel cage fan is pretty flimsy -- I had to super glue one together after breaking it with torque from a small screw.

Pros
  • The fan runs on a 12V power supply, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Cons
  • The fans can create a draft, which could compromise the printer's accuracy

Move a TON of air, but are not quite

These fans move a TON of air, but are not quite. Also noticed the noise levels between the fans were not consistent - Some were much louder than the others. If noise isn't an issue and you need air flow - these are it.

Pros
  • The fan's low power consumption helps to save on energy costs and reduce your carbon footprint.
Cons
  • The fans are not suitable for use in quiet, low-noise environments, such as libraries or shared workspaces

Runs at 60 decibel at full, not 40.

I hooked this into my 3d printer looking for a balance of more power and less noise. As soon as I turned it on I realized something was wrong. I turned the fan off and pulled out my decibel meter on my phone. I know these aren't as reliable but it reads the background noise of my printer room at 40, so that is close enough. I set it on the printbed and got 50 with the noisy stock hotend fan running. I turned this fan back on at 50% and the readings jumped to 55. When I turned the fan to 100% my

Pros
  • It is lightweight and easy to mount in any orientation, making installation a breeze.
Cons
  • The fans can emit an annoying high-pitched whine when in use
