Difficult to program but very impressive to work with!

After a TON of trial and error trying to load a bitmap, I realized that each byte of data sent to the display encodes not ONE, but TWO pixels of horizontal data! Once I figured that out, I was able to send bitmaps in color and get great results!

  • Single Board Computer

Great price for a 7 color display

Great display for the ESP32. The update is pretty slow, but I use it for the weather and calendar, so I switch screens about once an hour. Having so many eInk colors is really fun.

No Software!: Computer Components

Nice well built display. Unfortunately the "demo" software sucks. There are many examples, but for other models. The Arduino software for this model simply displays a small color image. Attempting to adapt the sample code to draw lines, circles, etc. on this display has so far been unsuccessful.
