Not quite as pictured.

I didn't buy this to use as an exhaust clamp, first of all. I purchased the 4 inch "heavy duty stainless steel" clamp, based on the ridiculously clean and flat braces pictured (and every size has it's OWN pictures, so it isn't a "product representaion").Well, the brace looks nothing like the pictures- the lower curve of the plate brace is very shallow, just like any other cheap brand. Also, the bottom of the brace is NOT flat and even, it was obviously bent in a hurry for cheap mass production,

Pros
  • Exactly what I needed for my Mustang.
Cons
  • Despite being heavy-duty, the clamps may not have sufficient grip strength to hold heavier mufflers securely in place, which could lead to vibrations and rattling noises while driving

Worked great best in my review

Excellent performance, I used them on my stainless steel exhaust, I used a different type before and the clamp broke but these held together and did the job. Only complaints are there are to many threads i have about and inch and a half sticking down, also there is a burr on all of the 5 i bought making them extremely sharp.

Pros
  • Good value
Cons
  • These U-bolt clamps may be pricier than alternative muffler clamp options, which can make them less appealing to budget-conscious customers

Fit was perfect for 2 1/4" connection. The lower saddle is quite a bit smaller than shown in the photos, but thick enough to clamp effectively. Also not a shiny stainless, but covered in black residue. I did run a magnet on everything - no response - so everything is at least a mid-grade, probably 304. Hopefully it will hold up for a few years.

Pros
  • This clamp over-delivered on expectations of a heavy duty clamp.
Cons
  • Rust-prone material: Although made of stainless steel, these clamps may still rust over time, especially if exposed to harsh weather conditions or chemicals

Unique design make this best choice

Unique design make this the best choice, as it grips the pipe without compressing and denting it as easily. Nice quality and finish. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Clamp was exactly what was pictured. More of a standard clamp but that's what I needed.
Cons
  • As these U-bolt muffler clamps are designed for 5" mufflers, they are not versatile enough to be used on smaller or larger muffler sizes

Good quality: my feedback

These fit perfectly over an aluminum 2.5" dia pipe which is 2.88" OD. They have tiny gripping teeth on the inside of the ubolt which grabs the pipe material an holds firmly.

Pros
  • Well made
Cons
  • Difficulty in installation: The saddle style of these clamps may require precision and careful positioning during installation, which can be time-consuming and frustrating for those unfamiliar with the process
