By the way, I'm a little afraid that it can be damaged by small blows, so I pulled a pair of clerical rubber bands over the case. Now I'm at least not afraid to put it on a hard surface. Some pros: Nice appearance, adequate price, quite compact size for such a volume. Has cons: The cable is not very flexible, it is not convenient to use it. There are no problems with connecting to my MacBook Pro, the problem is with the flexibility of the cord itself. But if you define a certain place for it…

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Previous to that, I was using the original Lacie Porsche design model until I made the decision to increase the volume and speed by two times. There weren't many options because there aren't many models with USB c available. (Note that the 4TB model is slightly "plumper" than the 1 and 2TB models.)

Pros
  • The speed is in line with the claimed (130mb) Design Availability of USB-C.

It's impossible to use, don't waste your money.

purchased in February after WD's passing. Well, I figured Lacie would be excellent, as would the brand and USB-C. In actuality, it has been this way for the entire time. very quiet and compact. Yet, despite the fact that the disk was not touched, suddenly macOS displayed a notification concerning the improper ejection of the disk. Nothing resulted from the pushing. The system did not recognize the disk. The disk utility then noticed it a few times but was powerless to act against it. The disk…

Pros
  • little and serene
Cons
  • extremely brief service life. excessive price for poor quality.

Good product, I recommend that you try it.

According to the instructions, you must format the drive with a certain file system in order to use Time Machine. In actuality, it worked like that. No issues after connecting the drive to the PC. I then opened the disk to inspect its contents (natural desire). A warranty file, two icons (one each for Windows and Mac). When I clicked the Mac icon, the product registration website opened. The item was registered, however setting up an account on the manufacturer's website was not feasible (some…

Pros
  • Two cables are included, the enclosure is sturdy, elegant and compact, and the instructions are clear. When archiving a huge amount of data—more than 350 GB—quietly and without significant warming.
Cons
  • You can get a "brick" if you do not pay attention to the need to immediately format the disk, and only then use it to create copies of Time Machine. Comments will have more information.

Terrible product, not happy with the purchase!

The disk only functioned for a little under three months. The oak wire Type-C - Type-C that was included in the kit is incompatible with both the iMac and the MacBook. Other cable ok was purchased on Amazon, and I will rent it.

Pros
  • Aspect, as well as velocity
Cons
  • Passed away after more than two months, furthermore the bundled cable was of poor quality

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

For a very long time, I settled on a hard drive that does not require any additional adapters in order to be plugged into new machines. I have the 4TB version, and it has been operational and error-free for the past four months. I work with a huge number of images in raw format; the import process in Lightroom is satisfactory, and the export process is quick. Some pros: usb-c to usb-c speedy uploading and downloading of files (I didn't measure it, but it copies from a flash drive to a hard…
