Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

Great external HDD. Bought to use as storage for a media server on a router. It copes with its task perfectly, the reading speed is enough to play content from it in 4K format. I plan to replace it with the same one for 4TB in the future, one turned out to be not enough :)

An outstandingly well-balanced disk with a significant volume that exudes a nice appearance and possesses outstandingly strong technical properties. You can quickly and easily acquire additional storage space on your computer by utilizing this portable drive. The USB 3.0 interface allows for the transfer of files at a high rate. You may easily free up space on your computer by transferring data to an external device using the drag-and-drop method.

Pros
  • A low cost, a large disk capacity, an attractive and understated design, and a high read/write speed on the disk.
Cons
  • Insufficient resilience to shocks (a tradeoff made for the purpose of design)

You should not take it, it does not meet any standards.

If you look at the reviews that were written from one day to three months ago, you'll notice that the changes aren't all that significant. After reading the reviews that are printed directly on the discs, I do not advocate making a purchase.

Pros
  • Cost, outward appearance, and functionality inside of a full-fledged 2.5-inch disk with sata
Cons
  • After being taken apart, the components were brought to light. Many collapsed at 1 TB STKN1000400 - disk st1000lm035 - SMR, which is a tiled record with a rating of 2.4. Half of it collapsed at 2 TB STKN2022400 - disk st2022lm007 - SMR, which is a tiling record with a rating of 3.8.

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

Has some pros: Doesn't get hot during extended use. While little in operation. Seems like a good storage unit for the price. Cons below: During operation, slight vibration, a tiny signal to turn on. In some models, the gap is visible better than a point.

Never buy this product.

I bought it for backups, started copying data with a total size of 800 GB. The disk constantly disappears from the system, after a different arbitrary time. I did not notice any pattern, different PCs, different usb ports 2.0 and 3.0, different cables, several formattings with different applications. Power saving on the PC is disabled, on the drive itself, through the Seagate application, it is indicated never to sleep. The disk itself physically works, it does not turn off, it simply ceases to

Pros
  • Lightweight, compact
Cons
  • Constantly turning off
