Improved Performance

High quality and easy installation. I took my time and followed the instructions step by step. The numbered parts made it reliable. Installation time 2 hours. My 2002 Explorer has 130,000 miles. The performance at medium speeds has increased significantly. Completely satisfied with this product. Dollar for dollar, this is the cheapest screw for horsepower.

Product works as promised but with missing parts

Although the instructions were a bit confusing I was able to install it in about 2 hours. The product performs as expected - I've noticed around a 1mpg improvement in fuel economy, but it's definitely a bit noisier, although not to the point of becoming unbearable. One of the o-rings was missing, so it's easier to go to my favorite hardware store and buy another o-ring than to break it up, send it back and reinstall it.

K&N Filter Air Intake

Installed on a 2003 Ford Explorer XLT. Installation is easy, only takes about 30 minutes. I've had it for a few months now and the performance has improved a bit compared to the OEM. The intake gives the engine a nice sound (definitely louder than stock). Not sure if it helped with gas consumption. K&N are the best air filters no matter where they are installed. I install K&N filters on other cars and toys and recommend them to everyone. Bought from Revain because the prices can't be beat and…
