Disappointing Hole Saw - Lacks Precision

When I tried this accessory, I had high hopes given its specifications. However, I found that it lacked accuracy and precision particularly in tougher materials. The product feels less durable than expected and it was frustrating to use. While it's branded for use in industrial and scientific applications, I wouldn't recommend it for those purposes. The cutting teeth seem to be less sharp, and it required more effort than it should have for a clean cut.

Pros
  • Easy to find in local stores.
Cons
  • Lacks precision, durability feels subpar.

Not 155mm, Not Round

The product was packaged and shipped in a manner that could result in flat spots on the bit. There are two flat areas in the bit, either due to shipping in horrible packaging or poor design. 155mm also measures 6 1/8", which isn't even 6 1/16". When drilling such a large hole it is very important to have a round drill bit because of the torque that can be exerted by the drill bit if it gets stuck on something. Terrible product even for the price and I won't even test it on drywall because of…

Pros
  • SMOOTH CUT: High quality bi-metal blade and sharp HSS variable pitch teeth combined with an unobtrusive clean edge gives a smooth and clean cut on a hole saw blade. The drill spring automatically ejects the saw blade from the saw once the hole is complete.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

This hole saw is dangerous!

There is nothing to attach the bit to the shank. So when you start cutting a hole, the hole saw starts spinning off the shaft. I tried to cut a hole in the jamb and after about 5 seconds this hole saw unscrewed from the shaft and was no longer connected to the drill bit. I have several Milwaukee hole saws and they have two teeth on the shaft that go into the hole saw to keep it from twisting. A picture shows the entire saw attached with two teeth to smaller holes next to the drill bit. But…

Pros
  • SUPERIOR WORKMANSHIP: This powerful drill is made of M42 high speed steel and bimetal with higher hardness(≥65HRC), higher toughness, higher cutting ability and higher wear resistance. Additionally built-in rust protection for reuse. The depth of cut is 1.2 inches.
Cons
  • So far so good
