Works great in a Boss saw

This is the second saw I have upgraded with the Diablo disc. My guess is that they offer blades for the unusual 6" diameters used on Porter Cable Saw Boss saws. I will buy these blades again.

Great blade perfect for Porter Cable Saw Boss

Bought for my now discontinued Porter Cable Saw. Works great and leaves a nice border. I hit the nail and chipped the carbide on a few teeth, but it still leaves a nice cut with no burrs. I've used this blade extensively on old and new 2x4s, plywood, pressed melamine boards and it still cuts cleanly.

Use caution when installing

Cuts like a charm but teeth receded on the ledge of my wire saw when installed with the lacquered label facing out. I don't know if it was a factory error and they were swapped, but I have 3 of them that are the same. Once I figured out why I only smoked wood and flipped it, it cuts great. I like the laser ports that keep the blade cool through many cuts.

Lightweight and Efficient

When I took this little guy out of the box I had my doubts. It is light and thin like a feather. When cross-cutting lumber, I honestly doubt it. But I used it with my old Porter Boss wire saw and the new Kreg Rip-Cut Circular Saw Guide. This combination is ideal for tearing off sheets safely and precisely. And the little Diablo blade makes the cut almost as smooth as my table saw. Plus it's cheap. Another winner from Freud.

  • Circular Saw Blades
