Great gift for the cook in your life who has everything. For Thanksgiving we have many chefs cooking different dishes in a big kitchen and we have 5 of these necklace timers. The chef can put the dish in the oven, hang the timer around his neck and leave the kitchen without worrying about the time remaining on the dish. We use it as a reminder to cook something. I have several of these appliances and they all continue to work well. I can rely on them which I can't with some others I've tried. I decided to leave the rope on one or two as I can then easily take them inside and hang from something while I'm in that location.
