K&N Harley Davidson Performance Intake Kit - Model 63-1125P Review

Easy to install, looks great and it's K and N. Chrome could do with a little better on the elbow but would definitely buy again and recommend to others.

Installation on my 2015 HD Breakout was very easy, I did it in about 10 minutes. As advertised, this significantly increased performance and got rid of the annoying ping I had before installing it.

Similar to the HD Heavy Breather, but inferior in finish quality. To save money, that's a disappointment, a hundred bucks more and I get a show quality product. The ID works MUCH better, now it can suck in as much air as it wants.

just received this today. excited to install it in the morning so i opened the sealed box. I am very impressed with how well packaged and protected all the contents are. But when I removed the bubble wrap from the chrome stock I was totally shocked to see the crappy chrome work! Small pieces of chrome fall out of the packaging first. But I'm wondering if it's coming from the outside, which may not show but is getting worse. There are lumps that look like the chrome was applied over dirt or…

Installation was relatively easy. Listen to everyone else, it's a pain to hit one of the screws. I didn't have to cut out the allen key, but if I had one it would be a lot easier. Some parts are made of plastic. Also the finish of the product after its chrome plating was approached very carelessly. The screw holes were filled with excess chrome, had to be re-drilled. Some of the metal parts were scratched or fallen off and they never touched them up with a file or anything, just left for chrome
