K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Boost 🚀 Horsepower & Performance for Jeep Wrangler 3.6L V6 (2012-2018) Review

The best upgrade you can ever make to a car, your engine breathes like never before, big horsepower boost. and big gas savings combined with the right exhaust (borla in my case) is all you need to get the most out of your engine. It also makes a nice bark when you hit 3000 rpm. the installation is also very easy.

Bought for my JK 18. Installation was difficult especially putting the box together. Read the instructions carefully and I recommend measuring the bolts. There are several sizes that are very similar in length. In terms of performance, it adds a nice raspy tone when you step on the gas and throttle response is noticeably better. As for gas mileage, it's hard to say since I installed this thing right after I bought the JK. I think it won't hurt.

5 big stars oh my god i took this CAI for a ride and i couldn't believe how well it accelerated, it was an amazing difference in acceleration. and the smoothness of the engine on my JK and that was before I fitted a free flow exhaust. However, I was blown away after driving my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon. Not to sound like an exaggeration, I'm amazed it's the same Jeep. I bought this for my husband. He completed the stem and installation of this K&N in 2 hours and 2 minutes with the help of his 7 year old. Yes, it is easy to install. I purchased a K&N 77-1566KP Polished Pipe Inlet Kit hoping to improve gas mileage and have only a slight increase was observed. However, my jeep accelerates much better.
