You get what you pay for.

Have been using this for three months now. Despite receiving an abundance of sunshine and being correctly connected to solar source, LED lights are not very bright. Overall very disappointed with sturdiness, as well. May be ok in sheltered area away from the elements. Also does not have ties. Using bungee cord to keep closed. Really wished we had returned it.

  • Easy to put together and to crank up and down.

  • Complete junk, even returned replacement and never got money back!

Very poor quality best in my review

I purchased this umbrella primarily for the solar lights. I ordered the beige which was much lighter than I had expected. The fabric was very thin and did not have a Velcro strap to secure when not extended. I would not recommend this product. Returned it after a week.

Disappointed on my review.

Unbrella has started fading within weeks of use, but it is supposed to be fade resistant. The lights are extremely dim; if you are looking to purchase for this feature, then would recommend exploring other options. There is no tie to help keep the umbrella closed.

Nice until the string broke on 4th use

Good looking umbrella, lights worked, easy to put up and open, thought I had a winner for a great price. Then on the 4th use the string that opens the umbrella via the crank broke. Just like that it’s useless. I contacted Sunlax hoping for an easy replacement but they directed me to work it out through Best Buy. Thankfully Best Buy is a 10 out of 10 stars in handling these kinds of issues and they’re sending me a replacement with no hassle whatsoever. Maybe the next one will last longer. Great…

I ordered the reddish umbrella, the color impressive and pleasing to my significant other. product seems well constructed, material of the umbrella seems thick enough for its purpose of sun protection. i cannot comment whether the fabric is water repellent. I cannot comment whether the fabric will fade with sun exposure. typical of most umbrellas i have had, the cable to raise and lower the shade is of braided cord: cannot comment about the longevity before the cord fails, but it seems…

Patio Umbrella best in my review

It was Beautiful , now it’s worthless ! It would not Crank down at all . Less than 2 weeks worth of enjoyment. It started raining today & we couldn’t Crank it down. So the wind picked it up & sent it to my Neighbors yard weighted base & all . Now 1 arm is Broken .

Very disappointed - my new review

I purchased Sunlax rectangular patio umbrella. It arrived on time. Once the box was open, to our disappointment the handle was broken. It was very difficult to move! You were unable to see what it might look like if it was replaced.It's going back.

  • Overall the umbrella itself is nice but the base of it is cheap. Was also dented in the middle.

  • No assembly instructions and poor quality. Couldn’t open umbrella!

Love this umbrella. Especially the lights! The assembly took about 5 minutes. I love the crank handle and light switch above the handle. It’s very easy to open & close

It seems sturdy, and especially since it's not an expensive umbrella, that is great. I imagine high winds would bend it, but any umbrella would struggle in that. For the price, it seems well made. DIDN'T LAST LONG - my new review

I was excited when I received this umbrella. Nice blue color and looked great on my patio. Put it out Memorial day weekend. It didn't last long. Three months later and the rope (made out of cheap nylon) inside the umbrella broke. It looks like it frayed and snapped. I was going to try and fix it but there is no way to do that unless I try to re-rope the whole thing. For $100 this should have lasted a lot longer. Lights did not work

I thought the umberella came with a base so I didn’t order one. I was super excited to receive the umberella then to find out I needed a base so I had to wait to put the umberella up. Then we finally get it up and lights don’t work. Cannot figure it out and now it’s too late to return.

A good umbrella and a great price.

The umbrella was easy to assemble and appears to be high quality, given the very competitive price. I haven't used the tilt feature yet, other than to try it out, but it's fairly easy to do. Over all, I'm happy with my purchase.

Was great until it broke less than 3 months late

We really loved this umbrella when we first bought it in June. But we just had the string break apart that brings the umbrella up and down and now we can’t use it. It’s really upsetting because we didn’t even have this one full season before it broke on us.

Can't wait to use this product!

I really like this umbrella. I love the color, the material, it is not very light. It was very easy to assemble right from the box. I Need a base or umbrella table. Will be purchasing one or the other soon. But so far I am sure I will enjoy it.

Good umbrella, bad lights

Buy it for the umbrella, not the lights. The lights are so dim they are pointless, they don’t illuminate anything even when fully charged and you can barely tell they are on unless it’s pitch dark. It’s not that the battery isn’t charged, they will stay on for hours.The umbrella has held up over three months, we close it when not in use to keep it from being wind damaged. Would have been nice if it had a strap to hold it closed. Fabric is still in good shape.
