Today I replaced the spark plugs and installed this kit. In general I am very satisfied. Sounds great, runs smoother, no speed dead zones. No tuning is required for my '03 WRX. Overall I was impressed with the quality of the parts and the ease of instillation. I recommend this product.

AMAZING SOUND FOR MY 2004 SUBARU WRX! I'm not sure if I'll feel an increase in performance, but I still recommend getting a controller. I got this and wanted to set up the Cobb but had to work with the stock control box to set my kid up to not run lean. The engine now has a low rumble and a nice turbo hiss. I love this shop!

I just bought one of these when the price dropped below $170 and WOW! sorry I didn't get one sooner. Remember that big smile when you first experienced the WRX? This part gave it back to me 10 years later. Sounds amazing and the car pulls a lot harder. Installation was pretty easy, but pick up the phone (despite the instructions) and things will go a lot faster.

I bought this air intake for my 2003 Subaru WRX; It was a little difficult to put together. Could have used a few more hands. But everything worked out and even a non-mechanic like me can get it right the first time! Expect that huge burst of air when you step on the gas, since the factory noise cancellation of the original airbox is gone. And it looks good too. Overall I am very satisfied with the product and my purchase.

It was easy to install. I hate working on my car because I'm afraid of screwing something up. I installed it in a relatively short time. I had no problems and everything went as it should. Sounds cool. If you want to hear your turbo, this will do the job. I have a STi 06 car. I hear the whistling and flapping of the turbine, and I hear the stock compressor bypass when I let go of the engine. I don't feel any difference in horsepower, but highway driving has never been so fun.

This little fella not only adds pizzazz, he makes my favorite 2003 WRX sound like the serious machine it always was. I have a 2005 Subaru WRX It was fairly easy to install where there were a few steps like unplugging the wire for the O2 sensor around the heat shield, it was fun. I felt more power, but in 4th gear I had holes in my powerband, the check engine light came on. I later found out what the problem was, it was the O2 sensor. Changing the size, amount, and flow of the airflow throws out samples that throw the sensor out of control. Normally you burn a lean mixture, too much air and not enough fuel. I…

I bought this kit because it got good reviews on the forums. Installation is incredibly easy, it took about an hour. Don't know if HP added it, but the turbo spin-up sound and BOV whoosh are worth it. My face cramped from smiling after the first ride! If you have a WRX, buy this intake kit. I believe it has a better heat shield than Amazon's SOA.
