I ordered these for my mom last Christmas and the knives were never sharp. They were boring from the start. Not to mention that one already had a broken shaft because it was rusted somehow. I can't even understand how a stainless steel knife rusts. The knife block is the only piece of this set that will be used from now on. Since then we have started buying higher quality knives in smaller quantities.

This is not stainless steel. Mine got rusty pulling it out of the box! Hand washed, left to dry. As I started cleaning them, I found that the handles soaked up water, causing more rust. Also, the blade doesn't go all the way through the hilt, it looks like it goes through the hilt, but it's actually some kind of plastic with gaps. Terrible design. I do not recommend it to anyone 😡 Zero stars!

You cannot put them in the dishwasher as water will get into the handles and if you take them out of the dishwasher or put them in water in the sink the water will seep into the handles so you pick up the water when you go to pick them up over. out of the handles, and if you leave them in water for a while, rust spots will start to form on them. When you get them I suggest washing them immediately after use without soaking them in water…

Just arrived today I got this for my mum and dad for home use, it's quite heavy in the packaging but looks great the blades are nice and thin so am nervous about holding it, if it falls it will break and if it only happens I will write another review but the knife handles are great and have a few rough edges at the end of the knife holder but it rotates great

So I loved these knives at first! I've seen reviews from people complaining about being empty but I gave them a chance anyway. Today, while trimming the ribs, part of the handle fell off one of the knives! I don't use this particular knife much, I use the knife next to it more often! The knives are sharp and look great, but the craftsmanship just isn't there. I bought these because of the large number of knives you get, I will have to look elsewhere for a better brand.

I think this is a gift item as it contains many items and initially has a great bang for your buck. After about a month of ownership, the dishes have never been hand washed or dried. The black paint is peeling off the wood (possibly pressed material) and has started to peel where commonly used knives are.
