🔋 Reliable Powertron 72100 2.4 Volt Battery: Ideal for Welch Allyn Devices with 1375 MAH Capacity Review

After I put it to the test, I was impressed with the long battery life and reliability of this product. It provided power to my household appliances without any interruptions. The convenience of having a dependable battery in my home is priceless. However, the price of the battery may be a bit steep for some consumers.

Replacing the 2.4V 72100 battery has my Welch Allen 707 Otoscope/Transilluminator charged and back to a good condition operational state.

Tried to charge for 24 hours. never worked I checked the otoscope bulb and it was fine. I then tried connecting the battery directly to the lightbulb and it lit for a few seconds and then went out. A significant problem is that the original Welch Allyn 72100 battery has the positive and negative ends sticking out of the battery, allowing them to contact the terminals in the otoscope. This replacement battery has indented ends that do not touch (see pictures).
