One thing I noticed from my side is that the magnet on my spare part is covered by a plastic cover and I'm pretty sure it's sealed! The photo I've added here is MY old part that had the magnet open. I have a Vantage Pro 2 from 2014. This module is suitable for any Vantage Pro 2 Spring 2013 or later. The steps to replace were easy. Use a hex wrench to remove the wind cups. (I hope you kept yours from the original install). Then remove the Phillips screw from the existing module.
