The Boss is a Loss - Auto & Vehicle Electronics

I had a stereo installed and it worked fine for a month or two. I would not buy this stereo again. Thank god they stopped it.

Looks great and sounds great. Bluetooth mic is a little wobbly

This deck fits my 99 Jetta perfectly. iPod touch/iPhone looks like a personalized display deck. Works and sounds amazing, but the bluetooth isn't up to scratch. Everyone I speak to says I sound very distant and I know it's annoying to listen to. Otherwise it is a step towards doing without CD players in the car. highly recommended.

Good product but minor issue

So far this has been a hard farm beat radio and never missed a beat and the iPod wouldn't move or turn off. My real problem with this receiver was that when it scans for radio stations, it skips many radio stations that I know are crystal clear, so I have to manually program the few radio stations that are skipped. Despite the lack of some stations when scanning, the reception is excellent compared to my old factory device. It's a little distracting when driving at night but not too bad, mostly

5 and up! the best in automotive electronics

Boss 755DBI Solid State MP3 Receiver with iPod Dock Built in - Great System! Standard self-installation (30-40 minutes). iPod is read instantly (doesn't take time to read information before starting playback). You can turn off your iPod at any time. The card reader works like a charm! Also works with large cards (I have 16 GB). It doesn't take long to read card information before it starts playing! AUX and mini-USB also work without problems. The radio comes with a USB cable. Bluetooth tooth…

Great stereo at a bargain price

Fitted to a 2002 Sprinter a few weeks ago replacing a Sound 30 with no extra input. For around €100 I get everything I wanted:* Charge and play iPod touch – wirelessly!* Auxiliary front input for laptop or other MP3 player* Easy to use* Bluetooth Negative points in other reviews are correct:* Bluetooth sound isn't the best, the best, but you can always transfer it back to your phone* LCD equalizer is always on and pretty much useless* iPod tray pops out easily, but iPod Touch insert snaps in…

Total crap, avoid at all costs

I bought this receiver to replace a Sony CD receiver that didn't have an AUX input. It worked fine for about a week, and over the following months one after the other broke or failed. The first alarm is that you cannot program the watch. It never runs, so it stays on that time forever no matter what time you set it. The second warning sign is that the FM tuner is not working. If you're trying to find a station, it just stops where it wants to, regardless of whether there's anything on that…

  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Not bad in many ways, but there are inexplicable flaws.

I bought this radio to replace the factory radio in my Miata. The factory radio was blown and I just wanted something with an extra input and a USB port. It's not a bad radio. It is inexpensive and has these features. It's easy to use, except for the FM tuning (a low priority feature for me as I listen to my own music). long trip. However, it feels very cheap. The iPod dock is annoying as it can easily be pulled out accidentally. Unfortunately, I didn't know that a USB port is a mini USB port…

Low quality. Returned twice. Still does not work.

UPDATE: I received a "repaired unit back" from Boss. It didn't read SDHC cards or USB sticks. So I sent this block back. I got a brand new device from them, this device doesn't remember the radio presets or what track you're listening to when you turn the car off. This is very annoying when listening to a podcast or audio book as you can't just pick up where you left off. So you are 0 out of 3. Correct, I had 3 different stereos and none of them worked perfectly. If you want to play, buy it. If
