    Great lens for the price!

I've only had a little time to play around with the lens but so far it's working quite well, especially for the price. The lens feels solid, the focus and aperture rings are very smooth, and the resulting images are far better than I expected for the price. This is definitely a great toy lens and it has good projection on the MFT sensor with not too much vignetting and absolutely no image cropping. The aperture ring is smooth - no stops at fixed aperture points. However, it is very convenient…

Updated Version Review (V.II) I've had the original version for a few years now and really like it. When I saw the release of V.II I was very tempted. I also thought about Laowa FE. But the price difference is big enough to make me focus more on the updated V.II. I don't need it, but it's cheap enough to treat myself to. The updated lens is better in almost every way. The build quality is better. Fit and finish also seem to have improved. While I don't mind a plastic bracket, the new metal…

    Amazing quality for the price

I really wanted an Olympus 8mm. f1.8 but for 1000€ it was too expensive for me. This lens isn't as fast (a notch and a third slower) but probably still enough for what I need and I paid a lot less. 87% less. I didn't have an 8mm lens to compare, but I did have an Oly 9-18 ($700 lens) and a 9mm body cap lens that has a fixed aperture of f8 and costs almost the same like a 7Artisans lens. I took test shots with all 3 lenses at all f-stops, I'll summarize. I expected the 7Artisans to outperform…
