Simply amazing with some limitations

The 35mm f/0.95 is a very well made camera lens, very heavy for its size but not too heavy. incredibly shallow depth of field, blah blah, y'all know that. Indeed they have made a lens mount you can't look away from, its graphite colour, how shiny it is etc makes absolutely no difference in terms of performance but it is something. what is noticeable when you mount the lens on the camera :) What I didn't like is that the front end of the focus ring (where the milled grooves end) is uncomfortable

Pros
  • Maximum aperture: f0.95. Minimum aperture: f16; Minimum focal length: 0.35 m. Filter thread 52 mm.
Cons
  • So far so good

Not for everyone, but if it is, the value is unmatched. I love it.

When it comes to value for money I really don't think you can beat it. For the price you get a very fast lens that feels really good. I have it on xt3 and had no motivation to take it off. This lens is not for everyone. If you need an autofocus lens with electronics or one that will be recognized when you plug a photo into your light room, don't buy this lens. Buy this lens if you enjoy the camera's manual focusing process and don't mind slowing down or holding your subject a little still. If…

Pros
  • Large aperture: The 0.95 aperture is great for shooting indoors, under low light and overcast skies. The equivalent focal length of 35mm is about 50mm. This can provide the perfect depth balance for portrait shots.
Cons
  • No performance

Great lens for the price, very interesting and surprisingly sharp

For a $250 lens ($200 less than the Mitakon competitor, which from my research appears almost identical), this is phenomenal. The build quality is extremely high and the lens on my Fuji X-T4 is very sharp. The most interesting lens to photograph, the depth of field is just amazing. Definitely turn on the zebras and focus peaking to make sure you're focusing properly, as with such a flat band at f0.95 it's very easy to get a little off track. Technically, the lens is more similar to the T1.0 in…
