【Compact & Portable】: Full metal body, this lens is compact and portable. the 60mm F2.8 II is smaller in size(60mm in diameter, 74.5mm in length) and lighter(only 399g) in weight compares with the first generation. 【APS-C-format Lens】: Short telephoto prime is designed for APS-C-format Fuji X-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 90mm equivalent focal length, which is very ideal for macro shooting, such as insect photography. 【11 Elements in 8 Groups & Ideal Aperture】: Its optical system consists of 11 elements in 8 groups. Bright f/2.8 maximum aperture suits working in a variety of lighting conditions and also contributes to the sleek form factor. A 9-blade diaphragm contributes to a smooth and pleasing bokeh quality. 【1:1 Magnification, Manual Focus】: Life-size 1:1 maximum magnification pairs with a 17.5cm minimum focusing distance to suit working with close-up subjects. Manual focus design, along with focus distance and depth of field scales, aids in precise focusing control. 【De-clicked Aperture Ring】: The de-clicked aperture ring offers smooth, silent rotation throughout the aperture range, making it ideal for close-range video applications and shooting.

Excellent glass

Very good lens. Sturdy construction and clear glass. Did some beauty shots for the first shoot - both myself and the client couldn't be happier. Well worth the price and better than other more expensive lenses I've used over the years.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • It makes me angry

Great macro lens in camera lens

This is a truly unique lens, both in design and fitment into the Fuji ecosystem. I was looking for a macro lens but most of them are expensive. 7Artisans come together to prove that a good lens can be made and made with quality at a lower cost. that's him. The lens is metal, not plastic, and the lens hood, which pops out when you focus, is also metal. Images are sharp and clear.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Surprised! for Camera & Photo

I bought this lens for macro photography but decided after reading about the Fuji macro/60mm lens which for a while was considered the best lens for portrait photography I paint myself to see this portrait. UNBELIEVABLE. The color and depth are far superior to other lenses I've used. Focusing is very fast but not picky. I get really sharp photos with a lot less effort on my part. The lens performs incredibly well even in low light. It takes a long time to get flat, grainy photos. I'm excited…

Tack Sharp Best macro lens for the money

This lens is far superior to others. Yes it's heavy and yes it's manual but for macro photography you should only focus manually. This photo of a small bud on a bush, no bigger than a pinhead, was taken just 10 minutes after receiving the lens. No, it's not a perfect photo, but not bad for straight unboxing. If you want to remove the center tube, it simply unscrews and you get a wider workspace. Since my version is for Fujifilm and my XT-2 in particular, Fuji offers some great tricks to get…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Nothing

Aperture slightly dark

The aperture is not fully open at f/2.8, allowing a little less light into the camera than it could. For some strange reason, after about a year of owning the lens, dust started to build up inside, even though I had used caps on both sides when not in use. I'm not sure what's causing this, but it's an issue I haven't had with any of the other four lenses I've bought for my X-mount camera. In terms of macro performance, the magnification is about as advertised. When used with extension tubes…

Best macro lens for the money

I bought this lens mainly because I do my own film development and scanning. I use this macro lens and my Fuji xt1 or xpro2 for "scanning". Image quality is excellent, especially at apertures up to f/4-5.6. It's 100% manual so it's no good if you're trying to take a quick shot, but if you can take the time to set it up and choose your shot, you'll love the results. I mount it on my X-Pro2, it's a very tight fit, but on my X-T1 it fits like any other lens. Not sure why. But I mostly use it on my

Pros
  • Expensive but decent

Great budget macro lens!

This is a truly unique lens, both in design and in its insertion into the Fuji ecosystem. Before that, macro photography was really limited to Fuji's excellent but expensive options or using extension tubes. After using 7artisans for a few weeks I don't think I will ever invest in more expensive lenses. Of course it's the manual focus, but I never see myself doing autofocus macro photography. Edge sharpness is superb, my Xt2 fits perfectly, and the focus ring feels good and changes focus…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
