Install was easy and I'm delighted to have the higher capacity. Battery life is nice and long. Haven't had it long enough to rate longevity yet, but I expect it to give me several more years of life on my little Macbook Air.

Super easy to install, two size screwdrivers included, just have to figure out which size for the outer screws and the other for the internal screws. Had about 65% charge right out of the box. Using this in a 2012 MacBook Air to see if I can extend its life span. So far so good. looking forward to the extra amp hours and extended battery life over the original.

Battery took 20 hours to charge after install. The battery was recognized by the computer so the install was correct. The minute I unplug, the computer shuts down.

What a deal it’s just like the original one from Apple just a way better price Apple was charging me over 100 dollars I had to drop off my computer for about 3 to 5 days. For way less and 15 minutes time I was able to replace my own battery it came with the tools needed and a nice gift too. Highly recommended save your money and do it your self.

After fully charging the battery, a battery application seems to confirm everything the seller describes about it. However the age of the battery concerns me. The app show it was manufactured in 2015. I'm not sure how many years this battery will last. The seller says that the battery can take "Up to 1500+ recharge cycles over the life of the battery." Original battery would last maybe 5 minutes. You try to tell a teenage girl that laptops need air to breathe and she'll go right back to destroying the battery using it on her bed blocking all airflow. Replaced it with this battery in the mid-2012 Air and after calibration it's now averaging 8-9 hours depending on usage of course. Swap was dead simple even for a noob. Happy with this purchase.

I can’t really speak to longevity, since installed only 2 months ago but installation was easy (thanks for including the tool), but battery life is excellent between charges. Will lengthen the life of my MacBook considerably, as I was down to 1 hour between charges.
