Use with the cylinder head still on the engine and in the car, or with the cylinder head removed. Tool bolts to the head while the lever pivots from the base to compress the spring. The tool slides along the depresser tube (shaft) to easily move to from spring to spring for fast removal. Applicable for OHV & OHC gas or diesel engines. 2 sizes of Valve stem seal Pullers.

Great tool though. good for valve train tools

Do valve sealing work without removing the engine head, this tool is excellent. The only downside is that the screws are of poor quality, one of them broke off in the head.

You can always count on one tool to get the job done

Use to replace a valve steam seal on an imported vehicle without having to remove the cylinder head . Also the fact that it is of good quality

Lottery game

I ordered two of these. The first one was missing parts so I sent it back and got another one. The second had all the parts, but it was made with one defect. The bracket that the bar connects to was not properly stamped and could not be mounted to the head.

  • Tool slides over depressor tube (shank) for easy movement from spring to spring and quick removal

  • Not as thick as other picks

You may need to find other fitting parts but this kit works very well for the price

High quality materials, very easy to use, didn't expect it to be that solid for the price. The only thing I found was that the included mounting screws/fasteners only had 3/4 screws of each size, but there were 5 washers. Still works very well if you find another screw

The right tool for the job

I decided to change my valve seals for the first time and ordered a valve spring compressor. Well built and heavy. This made the job very easy as I could keep my head on the motor. The configuration of the tool above the valves allowed me to get the valve spring seats right in place by making small movements up and down on the springs until the seats were in place. Unfortunately I didn't photograph it when it was fitted to the engine but I can tell you that I was able to screw it straight into…
