This item is somewhat useless for removing a bearing assembly from a Chevy HHR. He stood up normally but just pushed the axle shaft out of the center of the hub assembly. I needed another hammer to get the assembly off the A-frame. Luckily, they were fairly easy to remove.

2004 VW Strut Replacement - the only way out for me is to remove the steering knuckle and wheel hub. Tap the passenger side lightly with a hammer - the driver's side is frozen. Try this tool - it doesn't fit the wheel hub bolts exactly, but close enough. A handle with a shock absorber bushing and a long breaker - clap - it turned out - the wheel hub broke off. Have a generic GM Impala and broke wheel bearing in 5 minutes removed from axle. The fine threads in the bolt that presses into the axle recess supplanted the cheaper metal threads in the cast metal of the center hole. A better one made of thicker steel from another manufacturer is $60 and worked very well in 10 minutes.

The package was damaged because it was not well packed. And the center drive pin wasn't even on center (off-center), so useless. Wrong. The thread on the drive pin is worn out, so you have to screw it in with force. If the goods are returned, the supplier does not reply within one day to confirm the return. Didn't expect better quality for this price, but it's just completely useless.

I purchased this wheel hub remover tool on a 2004 Ford Focus and it saved me time and effort when removing the brake hub.
